I don't see how there could be any part of that Coaster that could not be Fabricated, Constructed, or Machined by several companies. P.S. - Shane, Please Purchase Greezed Lightnin' Already for Cowabunga Bay. Thank You! -

Jordan, Thanks for the Photo of Locomotive No. 12 on the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad, however, my 20 pics are from a better angle. So which Junior Hang N Bang was better Jordan, Lagoon's or Kings Island's? rcg19, when did you visit Lagoon this Summer and why didn't Jordan put you in touch with me? - linearinduction -

Wicked launches at about the same speed and is super quiet, except for the sound effects in the Launch Tunnel. I have to say that I'm surprised the Accent isn't 90 Degrees and that the Drop isn't 90 Degrees for very long. I was kinda hoping there would be air time on the Top of the Tower/Top Hat like there is on Wicked, however, I would have killed for a Corkscrew on Wicked. -

The Fountains of Bellagio are broken into Several Sections about 20 Feet Long that can each be Raised Above the Water Line and have a Platform. I've personally seen a section raised about 6" above the waterline and Divers and Technicians working on it. After about an hour, they lowered it and tested each Nozzle and Laminar, before lowering the section and running that section through it's choreography. WET Design does indeed manufacture their own Nozzles and Luminars, as does many other Companies. The Lagoon Memorial Interactive Fountain at Lagoon Park in Farmington, Utah, is a Great Example of a Project that involved several Different Companies. The Interactive Water Feature was Designed and Constructed by Lagoon, WET Design, VCBC, CEM, and Water Design, Inc., with a Show Control System by Crystal Fountains, Inc. It's entirely possible that WDI Contracted with both WET Design, The Fountain People, and possibly others to Design and Construct World of Color. Crap! I Don't know how to re-size this image. Sorry Mods. Lagoon Interactive Fountain

What Powers Onboard Audio?
linearinduction replied to KevinM's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks for the Info Coasterlvr_nc and Joey! The woodies at Holiday World actually have a system built in. You can see the display on the control panel (specifically on Raven, since it's right next to the back row) show messages like "Lap bars not secured, car 4." This would also explain the metal contacts on the bottom of the car frame seen here: http://rcdb.com/3231.htm?p=15974. Also while I was waiting for Voyage one time, it would not let the operators dispatch because there was an issue with the sensor on one of the cars. Those contacts are exactly the same as those on Roller Coaster at Lagoon. There are also contacts in the Track as well. I believe the system at Lagoon is more of a "lap bar position indicator" system with the lights on the back of each car because they often dispatch empty rows with lap bars up. Are there lights on the back of each Coaster Car at Holiday World or is it just on the PLC Display? - Sid -

The Trains on Canyon Blaster are the same style as those used on Drachen Fire and I believe another Arrow Coaster in Japan? Speaking of Canyon Blaster's Trains, have both of them been repainted from the color shifting Teal/Purple to this Lime Green? It wasn't just a "Pay to Enter" Park when it opened, but each ride also required "Points" on the Ticket you had to Purchase. My family visited shortly after Grand Slam Canyon opened and both Rim Runner and Canyon Blaster were running with all Boats and Both Trains. We waited 45 Minutes in a Line to Purchase our Wristband to enter the park and Point Tickets. Later, we had to wait in another 30 minute line to purchase more Points to be added to our tickets to ride Canyon Blaster more. It was a Pain in the Butt! - Sid
