It was a fun day.. Ish. I used my exit pass on Rush, and the woman didn't take it off me! Aha! Used it on X:\ instead since it, apart from the fish, was the only decent coaser running. Thorpe really messed up badly today. It went beyond a joke and into the realms of "why the hell did you even open the park?"

Thorpe Park REALLY REALLY REALLY sucked balls today. Saw - Closed after 90 mins Stealth - Closed Slammer - Closed Colossus/Inferno - Started off Closed Log Flume - Closed as far as I know, I never actually made it round there. Rapids - Closed, oh wait it's opening at 12... no it's now 2... we've actually filled up the channel now but we filled it too high and now it's too dangerous to ride... What the fuck? This left everything with lovely queues and eff all to ride. Both inferno and colossus (in my mind) are crap so I decided not to queue... My ride count for today was.. Flying Fish x2 Rush X:\ Teacups. GREAT for paying £26 into a park which can't even open it's main attractions on time and keep them running!! Guest services got an extreme earful off so many people today that Thorpe started issuing "come back for free tickets" to everyone who paid to get into the park. Through I now own a free ticket to Thorpe Park AND Alton Towers (Score). I live in Manchester and since I wasn't likely to visit thorpe again got a ticket to Alton. Then just picked up a free ticket for Thorpe on the way out. If I hadn't had an excellent group of friends today I would have actually gone mad.

I want to know what eyeliner he uses.

Bunch of toss Thorpe Park.. If it's not working on saturday Guest Services will be getting complaints! (And hopefully i'll get free tickets)

What I don't understand is why vegetarian & vegan things are packaged as "Quorn Chicken-Style Pieces" or "Vegetarian Bacon". Surely if you're a vegelesbian/vegan you disagree with the principle of killing animals for their meat, why would you want to eat something that copies the name of it? I'm quite interested in what recipes you can cook up without any milk products, (i'm one of these stupid lactose-intolerant people).

Bacon & Maple Syrup pancakes has to be the best breakfast ever.

Wristbands (ala Blackpool) with barcodes that stop working after 24 hours? Who would actually stay up for that long at a themepark though.. I feel dead after standing up in a park for about 6 hours!

It would look alot better with some more tree types in there. Make a 10x10 grid and play around with different tree types to get a better forest look. Looks good though! I love the bright green track.

I see the seats for amputees have been installed quickly!

Hmmmm Dragon Bar. I think I had a taste of Hectors Zombie when we were there.. It was gooood. Almost as nice as my "make me something strong and not on the menu" drink..

Awesome trip report! I think that SLC and Infusion are the best looking of their kind, by far! The rest of the park looks pretty good as well. I might start saving for a trip now!

And to actually contribute something to this topic! The Original Cropped, probably sharpened and lightened? Admittedly the top one was taken with a pathetically poor digital camera a few years ago. However I think it definately needed a small kick up the arse. Bonus points for naming the TPR member in it.

I didn't mean offence at the original pictures, which from the look of them are good. Just the overkill on photoshop slightly. It's all in personal taste however, so don't change based on one persons opinion. Since when has it been against the law for adults to be immature and disrespectful? I personally see my post as a blunt expression of my views on the photos and photoshop in general. Btw take 16, multiply by 2, subtract the amount of rollercoasters Magic Mountain currently has, add 27 and then click your ruby slippers together three times and my age will magically appear. That or you'll find yourself in Kansas.
