The public don't give a rats arse who builds the ride, just as long as it opens for them. Why would they release a statement saying "We're building an Intamin for 2010" when the public would just go "what the hell is that?". Alton Towers has a pretty good rep with enthusiast sites anyway so I wouldn't instantly dismiss this. This whole backwards thing has pretty much been known since the plans first came out anyway. I'm just a bit suprised its a launch with Rita there, a tilt section would be more fun (imo).

Golden Orb spiders are AWESOME. I saw tons of them while I was in Aus over Easter, mainly in Cairns. Oh and a few Huntsman spiders... And a redback which was in someones bed!!! Took this photo... About a two feet away from it? Awesome things.

You realise Maverick isn't a "rocket/accelerator" coaster? For one of those you need a hydraulic launch, which Maverick doesn't have.

Because whenever Cedar Fair wanted a B&M ride there were no prototypes/new styles of coaster? Just because they haven't ever got a new design doesn't mean they are against them.

Naw. Miles is Pierre Changs kid i'm sure of it. He must've spent time on the island because of the whole nosebleeds thing. It would make sense. Anyway Sawyer went back to when he was already on the island when he saw Aaron being born. So I don't think it's about being in two places at once. I heard loads of people on the way out saying they wouldn't come back for ages. As for Saw breaking down.. The people who were stuck in the queueline got exit passes for it... Yeah great idea giving 2 hours worth of people exit passes... So that makes a 2 hour exit pass queue..
