The best thing about the episode was hearing John mutter "push the button", when he said that I was like YES he remembers. But then he just wheeled off into the distance at the end. Lame. The story writers have produced some real clunkers this season!

I still don't like this Smokey vs Jacob/Widmore/Whoever plot. It feels like really bad fan fiction.

I hate breaks in the scheduling!!

Whatever happened, at least the riders got spared the TRIMS.

^ In the picture captions in mentions that it is the Black Hole from Alton Towers. Nice to see the old thing getting some much needed TLC. I can see Gerstlauer rides like this become staples at themeparks, just like the Wild Mouse is considered a classic ride today. Compact and a fun ride. Not much more small parks can ask for!

A shame! However no matter how fun Arrow Suspendeds are to ride, there's no question that they aren't the easiest things in the world to maintain, especially if they are as fast and forceful as Eagle Fortress looks! Here's to something even better in its place!

Nostalgia only goes so far. If the rest of Margate isn't given the once over to make it an attractive holiday destination once again then I can't see this park drawing in a massive crowd from around the UK. Not when there are much more attractive thrills in places like Thorpe Park, Alton Towers and Blackpool. (which has an excellent mix of old traditional and new thrilling rides).

With regards to Cleethorpe's Pleasure Island: http://www.in2town.co.uk/Cleethorpes-Pleasure-Island-to-reopen-within-weeks It 'should' re-open once negotiations with contracts are in place.. Although why it had to close during this period of transition is beyond me. I blame UK law!

I would assume that the delay has been due to the absolutely awful weather during the first couple of months this year. However better late than never, i'm rather excited for this to open! It will be my first big inverted B&M when I eventually make it to France. Roadtrip? Ohhhhh yeah.

The ride looks stunning! And the trains look much better than the other Intimidator ones. More bodywork! Even if it is only plain black.

The thing I dislike about this season the most is this sudden "war" between Smokey and Jacob that cropped up in the series 5 finale. Each season of LOST has followed on from the last quite nicely, 1. General Island Exploring -> Hatch. 2. Hatch -> Others 3. Others -> Freighter 4. Freighter -> Donkey Wheel 5. Donkey Wheel sends people back to the 70's etc.. -> Smokey vs Jacob? eh? They've thrown in these two huge figures in LOST which we've seen all along, but suddenly they're each others mortal enemies and have been sparring with each other for centuries? It just doesn't flow for me!

A new Merlin ride breaking down? Surely not..

It looks like if you aren't the "right build" for Intamin Restraints that you'll spend most of the ride having your head slammed against them.

At least they gave Sun more than one line to say this week!

The capacity was terrible!!! The ride got queues of 2 to 3 hours on busy days at Legoland because of the covers. They took time to raise, lower and tall people couldn't sit in the back. Infact the last time I went i'm sure it was 2 people per car only. Good riddance I say, put something decent and more exciting in!
