4th of July is usually one of CP's busiest days of the year, and why it is usually open later that day. Raptor on most nights would have a shortish line in the evening when I worked there, but on 4th of July, we still had a full queue.

Good pics of the park, but yikes those first few seem really oversaturated. I really need to go to this park again. I've been once, and it was horribly crowded, and I didn't even manage to snag all the credits. Mmmmmm......garlic fries.

Hmmm.......either the "Galaxi" type ride at Tibidabo, or Scandia Screamer. Both were really fun for their size, but I was really worried about my safety.

It's Corkscrew at CP. Logo on the front matches, and there's an Ohio state flag in the background.

I was stapled hard when I rode it......... and I was glad because of the extreme airtime this thing has. I thought the lap bar was going to give out.

Best: Either of the Splash Mountain's, Dudley Do-Right, Timber Mountain Worst: The one at Geauga Lake, or the one at Martin's Fantasy Island

Wow, the water park looks great..... Glad to see they got some awesome slides in that collection.

I love that since the current head of operations has gone on a safety craze (adding the air gates to every ride, seatbelts to things like corkscrew, saying "check") they've had more accidents than in the 10 years prior.

Honestly, I lose more and more faith in the park, and I used to be one of its biggest fan boys. I still love the rides and the charisma the park has, but the operations have gotten stupid. Do they not realize how many people they piss off with this crap?

Did you know that you should put a description of the topic when creating something like this? Did you know that tigers, panthers, and other wildlife used to watch Corkscrew go through it's loop every day at CP?

Memorial Day itself is usually good for CP. Other than that, weekdays before mid-June are best, and Sundays before July.

Damn, I really need to get to this park. I have drooled over Coaster since I first read about the ride it delivers almost 10 years ago. Very nice PTR

^I have seen them there twice too (Pete Rose), and once he was eating at the Stage Deli at the table next to us (right across from the sports store)

LOL, It was in the 2nd post..........doh Kennywood's was the best of the ones I've been on. I LOVE WHIPS I used to ride the Kiddy Whip at CP every year when I was little. I'm not sure it's still there. The Nascar themed one in Camp Snoopy provides a more similar ride to the adult version.

Does Kennywood still have theirs?

White Water Landing used some of the old "chutes" from that ride. It was the concrete chute between the runout and the station. Anything fiberglass was added when it became White Water Landing.

July 4th is a very good day to go to SFMM. I did so in 2005 and 2006, and both times, the crowds were fairly light. AVOID DISNEY on the 4th of July weekend though.
