Any one seen the new Blue Man Group Rock Tour?
Spookbaby replied to jamesdillaman's topic in Random, Random, Random
I've seen them at the Brair Street theatre in Chicago 3 times and loved it. I also have tickets to see the How To Be A Megastar Tour for Oct. 19th at the U of I Assembly Hall. It's one of my birthday presents and I can't wait! I'm totally gonna wear my Blue Man Group shirt! Laura "Yeah, I'm that person" Huls -
Well seeing as my birthday is on Halloween I open presents and eat candy! However, seeing as this year is my 21st I'm sure that this year other recreational activites will take place I also attend either a Fright Fest or Halloweekends the weekend before.

Spookbaby replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random
I heard that he was in debt and was going to lose his house. A sad attempt to raise the money though. Who is seriously going to watch this!? Laura "was one of the chicks at least his wife!?" Huls -
I'm a little bit upset that it's not August 2007.

Why, oh why dish!? Why did you have to run away with the spoon!?

Best Kiddie coaster ever
Spookbaby replied to dr.gumbo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Ditto. This one gets my vote as well. -
Once at Cedar Point Wildcat kept breaking down and we stuck on it three times (the longest time being 4 minutes) but everytime we got stuck they would give us these free passes to skip the line of any ride good only for that day. We used them to ride Millinium Force three times in a row that night and skip the hour wait. Laura "I roode MF three times in 10 minutes" Huls

Holy cow Ryan, now that's a nice highschool! My high school was closed in and the hallways looked like bathroom walls. I took ceramics too! There must seriously be something wrong with ceramics teachers... mine had a massive case of ADHD as well! p.s. Are you seriously making a Haunted Mansion out of clay? If you do I want to see pictures!

New Universal Orlando Rumor...
Spookbaby replied to obeygiant's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm super excited by this. I am a HUGE BMG fan (I have seen them four times in Chicago and am getting tickets to their show at the University of Illinois Assembly Hall for Oct. 13th! ) and I think that a BMG show would fit in very well at Citiwalk. For some reason the vibe they have just seems to fit well with the whole Citiwalk thing. I think it's a good idea. Anywho, things could be worse... Celine Dion and Cher anyone? -

"I'm gonna Die!"
Spookbaby replied to 3rdShiftCM's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hahahaha YES. I love this topic. I have actually had several "I'M GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!!" moments. #1: The first time I rode Dragster we were on (what I though was the first) train of the day after it had been broken down for like, 2 weeks. It was 9:30am and since we were staying at the Hotel Breakers we got in early. We boarded and they roled out the train. YELLOW "oh crap" YELLOW "I'm going to die." YELLOW "OMFG JEZUS" GREEN *I start screaming at an insanely annoying highpitched tone brough on by my sheer terror but... wait. Whoops. I didn't know that they rolled out two trains at once it wasn't even our turn. Boy, did I feel like a bigger dork then usual. #2: So a couple of years ago I made my first trek to CP. I, having never been on a drop ride before, decided to brave a ride on PowerTower. Red side first. Well, I got in, the locked the harnesses, the OPs came around and checked them, and then... POP, the harnesses came undone and I heard a "clear" from the tower. Seeing as we had a group of 5 and I was the lucky one who was sitting alone, I had no idea that everyone else's had popped undone as well and that the "clear" was for the other red tower. (Before we get started let me clarify that, yes, I love roller-coasters, but am a huge pansy when it comes heavily scary themed dark rides) #3: Seeing as that I am a HUGE PANSY and I hate anything remotely scary, including movies (I still can't watch the opening scene of Ghostbusters with the ghost in the library) I was absolutely terrified to ride Revenge of the Mummy. I couldn't even watch the movie without coving my eyes... how the HELL am I going to make it through this ride!? Even the line creeped me out, so to get on the ride was terrifying. I expected the "guards" to pop up in the first scene but when I saw the bugs... I'm pretty sure I belted out a very loud "Oh *insert a four letter explitive that starts with F here*" and finally, #4: I was doing fine on MGM Studios Tower of Terror but completely lost it when on one of our rides our drop sequence flashed a couple of corpses in front of us. Again, being a total pansy and totally unprepared for such a thing... I basically, in a nutshell, had a heart attack. -

Ummm... the MF promo FOR SURE. I Had that sucker download to my computer and watched it religiously all winter and drooled all over my keyboard. I was so excited for it! It was a good thing that the chick in the voice over reminded me to... breathe. -

Apollo's Chariot front row, outside. It's al asorts of B&M goodness! -
Okay, I think one other person already said this and I'm shocked it's only been one other person but will someone get Dr. Phil off the air please? It's like a sophisticaed Springer... if I'm going to hear people talk about how their husband is cheating and is disrespectful to women I want them to be missing 3 front teeth and throwing chairs! I also have issues with pretty much any actress who obviously needs a sandwich. And I don't know who it was in the thread that said that they couldn't stand Dane Cook but I would love to cover them in spaghetti!!! j/k!

My best friend goes to UCF and they cancelled all of his classes because of the "storm" so he called me on the phone... from Universal Studios.

Six Flags Over Mid-America Circa the 70's/80's
Spookbaby replied to coasterboy76's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Wow, with the exception of Rail Blazer some of their old rides looked pretty cool. Sadly, some look cooler then some of the rides that they have there today. I am a dork and absolutely love the River King Mine Train that there right now, I never knew that there was even a second (and apparantly better) track! The dolphin show is about the only thing I actually remember from your photos and I'm pretty sure I only remember it because I was picked out of the crowd to feed that dolphins. I wish I remembered the Injun Joe ride but the last thing that I can recall being in the building was "Castaway Kids." Man, I miss that ride. Awesome pictures though! Thanks! -
Yeah, I went to the one that was on exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. It was pretty sick. I probably shouldn't have chosen to eat before hand either. Also, let's just say that the look on that kids face on the first page... was pretty much my reaction (albiet cool) to the entire exhibit.

Can you change mine to say: "Let's do this, I'm a chain dog"
