  1. Yeah...it's very business unfriendly to expect reasonable amounts of pollution in your state.
  2. I could see them using the Go-Kart space...for a MAJOR attraction. That would be the only way to justify it.
  3. They probably expect the levels of pollutants to fall within the legal levels that already take into account factors such as the ones you listed. Like the other theme parks in So Cal.
  4. If you need to buy all your gear and not just a gun, $100-200 isn't going to get you much. A Tippmann A5 is about all you can get in that range and still buy the other gear you need (bare minimum of a mask and a hopper).
  5. His name is Robert. Looks like you crammed a lot in.
  6. That's really cool! Love this upcharge idea much more than a premium restaurant.
  7. ^No wonder they can't afford to run multiple trains on rides. All that money is going to fines for pollution. Go SFMM!
  8. Looks like it is coming along nicely. Good to see Merlin expanding the brand.
  9. I believe a helicopter was used to build the crane that built S:TE.
  10. At least he's not Brendan Shanahan
  11. What is your budget?
  12. I honestly doubt Starbucks will care about anything other than the fat checks they are sure to be getting from this partnership after the initial launch. They'll probably treat it like any other franchise.
  13. That's a bummer. It was one of the few good things about SFMM. A nice touch.
  14. ^Flyers West vs Flyers East!
  15. Bringing this thread back from the dead now that a bunch of my coworkers have gotten hooked. I went years without playing, but now do private games at least once a month at SC Village. Upgraded to a DM10 w/ a Rotor hopper. Anyone else out there still playing paintball?
  16. ^^^Good point! Hopefully Sea World can keep up with the other So Cal parks now! Even if she was right about how ugly the JtA towers look!
  17. I wonder how many options will be offered. I suspect it will still be a limited menu served by Disney food service employees. Still a major upgrade that is sure to make tons of money!
  18. Looks awesome. Glad they finally got around all the red tape that hippie politician always puts up whenever they want to add any new attractions.
  19. ^On the flip side of that, if you are lucky enough to get in at a park that has their performers be part of a union (AGVA), it's one of the highest paid hourly jobs you can get at a theme park! However, I am not sure how many parks are unionized outside of Disney and Universal. I know I worked at Haunt for 6 years and made minimum wage. But had a blast, despite the crazy hours and hard work.
  20. ^So long as Comcast can collect their licensing fee, seems like a smart business decision.
  21. Ron Artest strikes again. No pun intended.
  22. Wait, what just happened? The Kings won a playoff series??
  23. ^I would second that thought. The ride closed today at 5PM with the park open until 7PM. So I definitely wouldn't assume it will be open all the time prior to the official grand opening.
  24. I'll believe it when I am able to ride the coaster again (hooray for a new credit if they change the layout/add more track!). But the prospects of anyone investing serious money into developing anything in Vegas doesn't seem too high...
  25. The characters on the wall in Child Switch (and the cartoon clips playing on the TV/interactive monitors) are from the Transformers: Prime show currently airing on The Hub network. Wouldn't make much sense to have PG-13 material playing in a room meant for kids too small to ride. Also to add to what William said about the uniforms: the leads and supervisors also have rankings instead of the normal "team leader" thing on their badge. Another nice touch.
