  1. Even though the tickets are off the market (thanks again Erik!), It's not too late to donate $10 to receive the special transformers souvenir+special USH surprise! For those of you who already donated $10, don't forget to PM me your address to get your gifts!
  2. This thread has a very good chance of coming back from the dead after this weekend! As part of my weekend trip to CGA for Coasting for Kids, I will be making side trips to a Giants game (*shudders*) and a SaberCats game!
  3. Since Erik donated the $80 needed to win the USH tickets raffle, I have another offer! I'm $200 away from being the top fundraiser @ CGA...A $10 donation now can get you a cool transformers ride souvenir, a bonus USH surprise, AND at the very least I will raffle off the gift basket (I'm already in 3rd). But if I make it to #1, I will raffle off the entire prize package of Four single-day tickets to Great America, 4 Backyard meals, Peanuts Prize Package! Those who already donated are already entered into the raffle. Thanks for the support!!!
  4. Thanks to Erik for stepping up with the $80 donation! Tickets are his! For everyone else, please PM me your address. I still have a cool transformers souvenir to offer you guys, and a special bonus if you plan on visiting USH anytime soon! The offer of the transformers souvenir & special USH bonus still applies to anyone who donates $10! Help me reach my goal of $500 and get something cool in return!
  5. ^I appreciate you bumping this thread, but as far as your comment is concerned: I doubt people come to USH just for the credit. They do have some of the most unique attractions in the world, like the Studio Tour & Transformers.
  6. That's 5 bidders! Half way there to the special bonus!
  7. We've already got 4 entries into the raffle. Can we make it to 10? Or will someone step up with $80 to take it all? It's not too late!
  8. ^Me too!! Full price tickets are now up to $80, so this is an amazing deal for anyone looking to get their Mummy credit and check out Transformers! That being said, if people are not interested in the raffle format...I'll keep it simple, since one ticket is now $80 on its own, I'll say an $80 donation can take BOTH tickets AND the surprise bonus!
  9. ^Never say never. I had to put my foot in my mouth when it came to Potterland @ USJ because I thought the "control freak" Rowling would never allow another owner besides NBCUni to have a Potterland.
  10. Hey guys, great news! You can support Team TPR, Give Kids the World, AND have a chance to win two tickets to USH! http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=62689
  11. Hey guys! I know it is a little late, but I just got some great news! I now have two tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood available for a lucky raffle winner! If at least 10 people enter, I can even include some extra surprises! All you have to do is donate $10 to my page and you will be entered into the raffle to win the tickets plus possible surprise! You can help me reach my goal of $500, and have the chance to experience the awesome new Transformers ride! http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/joeymandel/CaliforniasGreatAmerica
  12. ^Because that space borders the Hollywood Hills neighborhood AND makes them tons of money from productions year round.
  13. You can just as easily dine or gamble at their hotels as well. And use social media to express your gratitude.
  14. It's a shame this didn't work out. Should have gone with Intamin. The world can always use more Intamin rides.
  15. That section of the lot is right below a Hollywood Hills neighborhood (read: rich residents who don't like noise) who would probably disagree with that plan.
  16. Good things happen when Dustin Penner stays in front of the net.
  17. ^Payment plan=cheap babysitting. I'm going to guess that their per capita spending was very low.
  18. As someone who is afraid of heights, this tour looks both terrifying and awesome at the same time.
  19. Eagle Fortress closed! I think they need another kick ass Intamin to replace that and boost attendance. It's the right thing to do!

  21. I'm OK with riding Flight Deck for charity!!!
  22. Lets face it...the park is done. The waterpark will survive, but the rides section is done for.
  23. All those donations just added a few million dollars in profits to Disney's bottom line. Smart thinking on someones part. Tax write offs!
  24. ^It has to fit in with the rest of the park!
