The name of the artist is Prince and the song is called "Every Day Is A Winding Road", which was written and originally recorded by Sheryl Crow. The version in the video is from the Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic album. What a great contest this year! Let's not forget to thank Robb and Elissa for creating and maintaining the BEST amusement park fan sight on the WWW. Period. I'm still in the process of watching all the videos (the second time through) and will be posting a list of my favorites and critiques soon. Congrats to everyone who got chosen. Keep up the good work, and once again... THANKS ROBB AND ELISSA, we love you.

Valleyfair (VF) Discussion Thread

Am I the only person who thinks Valleyfair needs a new spokesman? Check out the newest video at WWW.KSTP.COM. That guy doesn't really seem at ease speaking in front of the camera, does he? I also love how the reporter repeatedly quotes "an expert", but doesn't ever say who it is or what his or her credentials are. Don't you love how the American media can just invent things and spread it to the masses? -

Hey, thanks for the PTR. I was born and raised in MN, so I technically still consider VF my "home park". Can't wait to ride the new swing this summer when I visit my family. Sounds like a fun ride! -
Swimace, that's a great comparison!!!

Wow, those last 3 pictures of the 3:00 parade look great. They paid a lot of attention to detail for the peasant costumes, and those angry police officers look totally real, too! hehe. -

Wow, I've never heard of this coaster before! Downloading the POV right now. Thanks for posting! -
Thanks for the trip report from this out of the way park. It's always nice to see stuff from the parks one hardly hears about, and OMG, that old waterslide sign IS wrong!

Eurosat at Europa Park

Yes, it's the same type of lift. Euro-Mir, (that horrible spin til you puke coaster at the same park), also has a spiral lift. -

Geez, you got more free food at the "Women's" show than I got going to the "Food and Wine" show here in Hamburg! Do you have to be female to get in to that show? -

I also love this ride, (coasters in the dark always get bonus points in my book), but it is quite rough. The last time I rode it, I slightly dislocated my shoulder coming into the break run. I knew that it was a quick stop, so I was bracing my self really hard. Somehow I got thrown to the side and when my muscles contracted to hold myself up, a sharp pain went down arm from the back side of my shoulder. Not nice. I was really freaked out that I had messed up my arm, but the soreness went away by the next day. Anyways, I still love this ride and can only recommend it, although who the football theming sounds strange.... -
Hey. Have you ever tried www.tripadvisor.com? It's a great way to find out about hotels all around the world. I always write reviews of the places I've been after I get back from vacation. Check it out. Hope this helps.

WISHED TO RIDE TATSU RODE "x" FIRST GOT BAD HEADACHE REST OF DAY WAS RUINED TEETLE HEHE (LAUGHING LIKE A JAPANESE SCHOOL GIRL) -
I had a great time at this park 2 years ago. Strangely enough, one of my favorite rides was not a coaster, but the Rio Bravo flume ride. It's so much fun and has some great suprises. Superman and Stunt Fall are also awesome, as is the stunt show in the lagoon. The wooden coaster, (whatever it's called nowadays), was soooooooooooooooo terrible. I had to ride it twice just to make sure it was really as bad is it seemed! I love rough, throw you around wooden coasters like the CI Cyclone or Texas Giant, etc, but this was just bad rough. Watch the recent videos from Robb and Elissa or my video contest entry from last year http://www.themeparkreview.com/contest2005/contest2005.htm to see what I mean. Have fun!

Home-made burritos/fajitas are the BEST. Tacos are way too messy.

Thanks for posting, Robb. I've always been really curious about this ride. Funny, without hearing you scream obsenities the whole time, it almost looks smooth! -

I have the cool looking samsung sc-x105L, and would not recommend it to my worst enemy. In other words, don't get a Samsung sc-x105L.
