Oh 15 year olds, you never fail! The Hoffan Girl withdrawal begins until next update! *ahem* I'm 18 and I'm not a creep toward the Hoffman girl. I'm just saying that part of the poem was funny. Bah, humbug... And to contribute to the Jeff Johnson photoshop contest and to prove my immaturity . I'm loving these Jeff Johnson photo-shops. Sucky Sucky 5 dolla is my favorite so far. Maybe we should start a new thread?

Hey you guys! I miss it, too. That's why I had to dive in and get some video done... it makes the whole experience last longer. Sorry that you think the song sounds sad! I actually always found it more inspirational. I love "Athlete". I don't think anyone knows them in the states. Anyways. I'm already going through coaster withdrawal, and to combat that will continue working on the videos "featuring" (hi panthers) Phantasialand, Toverland, and Holiday Park. Can't wait to see everyone else's pics and videos and stuff!

Hey ya'll. I've finished my first Mini-Europe Trip video! It's taken me hours today, but I'm happy to have it done to share with everyone and make all the haters jealous that they weren't there. Teetle! It's a mix of all the parks, with a little more emphasis on Klotten and Tripsdrill. I've got enough footage of Phantasialand, Toverland, and Holiday Park to make seperate, individual videos for each one of them. Those will be coming soon enough. In the mean time, enjoy this "little bit of everything" video, and let me know what you think. I had so much fun on this trip! p.s. I'll upload a downloadable version tomorrow. I've just gotta get some sleep now. It's 1:21 a.m. and i've got to get up early to get my shoulder taken care of... Mini-Europe.wmv MrMorgan's Mini-Europe Trip Park Compilation Video

Totally agree, Dave. And also, it was just too good to not be published. Something like that would never come into my mind. Great job, Mr. Morgan. Hey guys! Are you home yet? I'm going to post the lyrics to the poem, but I want to wait until Robb posts the video because I think the live performance will be much more embarrassing and humiliating to the whiny posters it was directed at. Oh, and now that they've read this, they'll be wetting their pants in anticipation of the "Morgan's rude poem about people complaining there's no updates" update. That's nice, too.

Hi everyone. Here it is, a welcome UPDATE from the Mini-Europe Trip, (from which I just returned). We had sooooo much fun, I can't even tell you. I laughed so much that I've got stomach cramps as if I've done 700 sit-ups! The coasters and parks were great. Robbb and Elllisssa busted their butts to make sure everyone had a great time and it was all just fantastic. Troy was relentlessly fast and furious, (and yes, there IS airtime AND laterals), and Black Mamba is insane. inSANE. Like, 70% of the ride is either underground or 2 feet above ground/water/cliff. I would write and post more, but I'm so tired I'm about to fall over onto the floor and sleep at this very moment. Anyways, I noticed there was still some complaining about not enough updates since I left for the start of the trip, so I made it my mission to post a P.O.V. as soon as I could when I got back. Here it is! I dare someone to complain that it's not available for download. Teetle. pov.wmv Meuhlenreutsche P.O.V.

Thanks for yet another update! Could it be that this park was closed and rotting when I was in Barcelona in 2000? I vageuly remember riding a chairlift from someplace far down in the city to someplace way up on the mountain and during the ride passing over some burned-up run-down long-closed ghetto-a$$ park and I swear it had the plane on a stick? Am I confused?

That "children with 1 ear..." sign made me laugh out loud! As if they'll start checking how many ears the kids have and making sure they have parents with. -
GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS Concerning the Bahn strikes. I was at the Hauptbahnhof (Mainstation) this afternoon and asked about the strikes at the info booth. The official word is the strikes WILL begin again, but not until MONDAY! So, for all people using the trains on Sunday, we're fine. Anyone who was planning on meeting up with the group for a day after that might have a problem. I hope that it's good news to everyone and no one gets screwed by the strike!

Well, only on just about every drop. Unfortunately, there's no ejector during the helix, though. It is very visually impressive. The themeing around the station and in the que is really great; the ride itself is actually kind of boring. It's slow and, although the waterfall pic can be deceiving, it hardly gets you wet at all. -

Elbow chopper! Now that's creative thinking. -
Hi. I'm the guy that mentioned the public transport strikes. It was happening the last 3 days, but the unions went back into negotiations today (Thursday) and hopefully everything is done for now. As far as I know, it was only the "drivers" and staff of the long distance trains and certain regional trains. U-bahns will still be in service, so if you're coming on a train that's NOT Deutsche Bahn and you arrive at the Dusseldorf Mainstation on time, you will have no problem getting to the airport with the U-bahn or a taxi. Let's hope everything goes fine and everyone gets there with no problems!!! As far as the ATM's go, I can confirm they are all over the place and you should have no problem withdrawing cash, but you'll definitely get a better rate if you bring Travellers checks or get Euros before you come. In other news, the weather here in Germany has been unseasonably cold and rainy. Who knows, maybe there will be a miracle and it will warm up and be sunny when we're on our trip, but I would definitely pack some warm, weather-proof clothes, (just in case).

Wow, what a PTR! That was huge. As far as Knott's goes. When I was there in the middle of the summer, Ghostrider was closed, too. Someone posted that they recently re-furbed in, but then why is it closed again already? Ahh, Knott's. And, Perilous Plunge was the SLOWEST loading ride when I was there, so if you were worrying about the 40 mins for other rides, be happy it wasn't open. It was fun, however, and we were completely and absolutely soaked afterwards. I mean, it was honestly as if we jumped in the pool with all our clothes on! -
POV= Point of View Don't you enjoyed "El Viejo Caseron", in Parque de atracciones de MAdrid? yeah i really enjoyed it!! and thanks for the reply!! AND what is point of view? Point of view means the video or still photo was taking from the "point of view" of the rider. So, not taken from the ground or from the parking lot or whatever, but taken from on the ride so it looks like it looks as if you were riding the ride. Get it?

OK, not to beat a dead donkey, but judging by the video, STAMPIDA looks sooooooo slow compared to when I rode it with the old trains! What a pity!!! I mean, it used to be kind of rough and "shuffely", but now it looks like it just creeps through the course with no airtime at all!?! Poor poor Stampida. What were they thinking with the new trains? And, speaking of trains, everyone who's coming on the Mini-Europe Trip should be glad that we've got a coach-bus booked because there's been all sorts of public transportation strikes happening here in Germany and it's complete chaos trying to get anywhere!
-
First of all, how cool is it that the ride program is actually scheduled and posted for the drop tower? Imagine if they did that for TOT? Second of all, I guess no one noticed it, but the SLC at Isla Magica actually has a bonus helix. It comes at the end right before the brake run. I'm surprised no one mentioned it...
