Highest $$$ Earning Roller Coaster
DATman replied to deano's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If we're going by park, I'd have to say one of the Disney coasters. If we're going by pay-per-ride, probably something at Blackpool or on the German fair circuit. -

^Last night was amazing. I don't know what you're talking about. I mean, it was the best time the Patriots could lose. Ever! They were so close to a perfect season, and the lost it at the end to a team they'd beaten before. So excellent. -
^3 was ridiculously awful. It had so much potential for amazingness, but i don't think any of the cast remembered what acting was, and I doubt anyone read the script before they made it. Even the especially cool parts (Venom) were ruined by ridiculous things (like his high-pitched voice).

RRv is a pretty excellent ride so long as you're nuts don't get crunched. Standing up is pretty cool on that ride, but Mantis just sucked. -

^That's not a very interesting ride program. You would think it would drop a few more times. -

It'd be great if they turned it into a cartridge you could just buy at the park and re-use over and over. They could do a lot with it as well, like put in little Disney mini-games for when people are in line. -

^I'd be willing to bet that it is an over-banked turn and not a cutback. -

First, I have some doubt about this as it is Jim Hill. Seccond, even if it is true, it is not a big deal at all. It is TWO lines of dialogue. I don't see why anyone cares about two silly little lines. Sure the "dead center of the room" is a line that half the guests on the ride say with the op, I doubt they'll miss it that much either. I'm excited to see something fresh and perhaps even better than a line or two that a lot of us have come to enjoy. -

What a great ride! There was air in unexpected plasces, the layout was very interesting, and it was a lot of fun to ride. My problem is that everything was great till the MCBR. The coaster lost all of its momentum and some of its smoothness. I realise you were just trying to get it back to the station, but perhaps a helix turnaround would have been better and allowed for more speed. Still, good ride!

Juno Wow. I mean, just wow. It had some of the best writing of any film I've seen this year. All of the jokes were hilarious, the story flowed beautifully, and it was really refreshing to see a teen/adult comedy that truly felt sincere. Ellen Page and Michael Cera were brilliant together. I saw it twice when I was back in CA for Christmas, and I can't wait to see it when it gets local distribution here in MI so I can take my friends.

Thunder Thunder is a smaller out-and-back woodie that is a bit more than traditional. It has some good air, some good laterals, and a generally interesting layout. Thunder.zip
