  1. ^^When you put it that way, I really have to agree with you. Although, that's my problem with the Fantasyland dark rides. I really wish that they would be updated with newer technology, as Peter Pan is the only one that doesn't feel out-dated as of now.
  2. ^Monsters may be better than Superstar Limo, but it still isn't the ride it should have been. It should have had AA's, but because it only had one (Roz), the ride really lost that sense of realism that you come to expect with Disney rides. Is it better than SSL? Obviously, but is it an extremely good replacement? No, not really.
  3. Actually, that obstacle course is taken almost directly from the G4 show Ninja Warrior. If you ever watch the third stage, you will know what I mean. Glad you guys had a blast at some really weird places!
  4. I love Dive Machines, and I love the colors. Need I say more other than it looks like it should kick some serious bootay.
  5. I wasn't really "wowed" by your coaster. It was slow, and the spinning didn't pick up till the very end (which was good, but your whole ride should be like that). Your supports were very well made, though. And I was hit by more than a few trees!
  6. Me just misunderstanding things as usual.
  7. I went to Disney World first, but I really don't remember that much of it. Having lived in SoCal for nine years and returning to WDW in that time frame, I can safely say that I do prefer Disneyland to Magic Kingdom as it has some of the more unique rides (and continues this with the revival of the subs), though I will say that WDW has the better supplimentary parks. So for resorts, I prefer WDW as an overall experience. For the flagship park, I prefer Disneyland as it has a more homely feel (I like the smaller castle and, well, smaller everything thematically) and it has a better selection of rides.
  8. PSAT was a joke. I loved every second of it.
  9. If only there was most entertaining. Westcoaster would dominate. Still, TPR, Screamscape, and RCDB are hands down the best coaster sites in existence, each for its own unique reasons. Screamscape looks toward the future and does a very good job of it, RCDB has all the facts, and TPR has everything in between.
  10. Maverick is a bit too much for a Disney park. To be honest, when I rode it I didn't really get the whole "family coaster" vibe at all, whereas California Screamin is a great introduction for kids into the looping coaster.
  11. ^The most likely solution is to move it over to where Orange Stinger is, but who knows at this point.
  12. I'd be willing to bet that one of them is the Cars ride that they built in Paris. As for the Ratatouille coaster, Mice Age is saying that's a no-go, and I hope they're right, because a French themed roller coaster in the middle of a pier at a California themed park seems like too much of a random idea.
  13. ^He's riding in someone else's garden. What a jackass. I mean, can you just see a bunch of people riding these things where they shouldn't just to avoid crods. Not to mention the massive crowds at DW would make it almost impossible to get around a fair amount of the time.
  14. The only reason people don't like TTD is because it's overhyped and has a long line. The lauch is a blast and the height is stellar. S:TE gets less crap than TTD and it's about 50 times worse. As for Magnum, if it were a good coaster it shouldn't matter where you sit to get a ride that doesn't hurt. And I wasn't in a wheel seat.
  15. ^^I think the best point you brought up is that there whould be a scare zone in that flat area between the escalators. It has a great view and theres almost nothing (other than the Apollo 13 set piece) there. Not only would it break up the bad transition from upper to lower lot, it would provide something else to make that trip down feel more worth it. It has so much potential too. You could have scareators using the escalators with the guests and things like that.
  16. ^&^^If you read the thread, you would know that he was released. Congrats, by the way, and good luck with college!
  17. Brawl better be worth the two month delay. I'm dying for it to be here. Still, they didn't delay Galaxy wich makes me uber happy, and I have Phantom Hourglass to tide me over till then.
  18. Everyone is going on the convention that the ride has rails. It would seem that it would be much easier for a bobsled to jump the track than for a conventional tubular steel coaster to jump the track. It's still a stupid idea, but I'm just saying.
  19. It's Cedar Fair wishing they were the ones who got to dismantle Psyclone.
  20. ^That is not airtime. MF's hills have airtime. Maverick's hills have airtime. Those hills only have pain.
  21. I'm so happy this was resurrected. Pure entertainment driven by Wes.
  22. Indeed. The shape of the return hills makes absolutely no sense at all, unless, of course, you were designing with a coat hangar.
  23. Triangle hills is not a good coaster IMHO. It's painful, lacks airtime, and not really specialy in any way other than it was the first. Maverick and MF, I totally agree with you on. It's kind of funny how rediculously crowded CP is on saturdays. I mean, these lines are longer than most DL lines on peak days. It's crazy. CP really needs to pick up it's staffing a lot, as there were some problems that you had that should not happen on a crowded saturday during a (weak) halloween event.
  24. All I Need - Radiohead In Rainbows is amazing byond reason.
  25. Mute Math tomorrow night.
