  1. Apple Juice, quite tasteless, but still ok.
  2. I won't go to Holland/Belgium this year afterall, which I think I said before. Instead I'll be leaving for Germany tomorrow for: Holiday Park and Europa Park. Then I will do the usual: Linnanmäki, Särkänniemi, Liseberg + PowerPark, where I haven't been before. In the fall/autumn this year I'll most likely visit: Mirabilandia I might also visit new parks: Gröna Lund and Tusenfryd this year, but I'm not sure yet.
  3. Nice PTR. Lol at that portable toilet. I'll stick two thumbs and my almost mutated hairy, smallest left foot toe up for you, for also getting a haircut today, just like me!
  4. My school ended today!! I will be riding EGF tomorrow! (not kidding).
  5. ^ I agree. Great PTR! Madrid looks nice. It's good that you got 'proper' big flight meals, well I haven't had vegetarian, but sometimes someone beside me have, and they've only got like, 2 slices of lettuce plus a carrot, lol! Anyway, it's good that you enjoyed your visit to Spain. I would like to try a Segway some day.
  6. Yeah, maybe I should try the new fatfree version of fried cabbage next time. Why do squirrels like lentil soup?
  7. I watched a few films somewhat recently. Ice Age 2 - quite good and funny. I don't know how to compare this to the first Ice Age, because I don't remember much of it. The Pink Panther (2006) - I think it was really funny at times, because of Steve Martin's French and stupidity, which is really quite cheap humor, but worked on me. Other than that it was just alright. Saw II - First of all I have to say, that I haven't seen the first Saw. This was quite good, I liked it, the length of the movie was good. The plot was quite good, a bit 'messy' at times, but still good enough. I thought it would be more gory. The Kentucky Fried Movie - A very random movie from the 70's. Some bits of it was really fun, but most of it was quite boring, nothing special, not so funny.
  8. Drove to the hardware market and helped Mr or is it Mrs? global warming, later I helped my dad with painting our house.
  9. At first I look on the 'Themeparks and Donkeys' board then 'Random', after that 'Ask Alvey' and then on the main site and then I might look at the 'Video boards', but no so often, and I take a quick look at the 'Roller Coaster Video' games board about once a week. If there's a new thread I find intresting, then I read it from the first to the last post, before I eventually post in it, but ie. when I joined this site, I did find the Tatsu construction topic interesting, but I didn't bother reading through all the 230?? something pages around then. I usually visit this site 1-3 times a day, normally it's one time, but sometimes more if there's something I'm 'waiting for' or excited about. I haven't yet used chat, well I actually never do on any other sites either.
  10. Great PTR! I didn't know that Holiday World had that many 'tree hugging' rides of wood, they were looking very nice with the forest, trees and the 'lake'. Also Kentucky Rumbler and of course Voyage look really great, it's good that new very good woodies are still being built.
  11. Some amazing photos you've got there! , it looks very beautiful with the white waterfalls and big mountains. Bring on the next update!
  12. Nice PTR! I think the chicken looks really good, much better than I've had at some restaurants. *walks to the fridge*
  13. Usually I am an Aquarius, but in some horoscopes in different magazines etc. I'm Pisces, because I'm born on 19th February, when it's according to most 'sources' the last day of Aquarius or then according to fewer sources first day of Pisces. I'm a snake in the Chinese one.
  14. Good TR!! Nice photos, I especially like the last one. Glad you had a good time, and liked Stealth, I should get to TP again sometime.
  15. Great PTR so far!! It's nice to see photos from 'unknown small parks'. It looks like you have fun, bring on more photos!
  16. Actually Spain is a popular holiday destination so some 'common' Finns should understand that... .. but, I would still rather ask in English, which really everyone understands (atleast a little), except for some older people. If they don't understand English then you could ask in Swedish, German, and then in Spanish, lol. Anyway, I have to agree that Finnish is indeed very complicated, and quite unique, (Estonian is a bit like Finnish, shares some words etc. Hungarian is somehow related to Finnish), but still, most of the verbs (like ncf nicely presented) are really difficult to learn, for a foreigner.
  17. It depends. Usually I hold my hands on my lap or in the air. If I would go now and ride ie. TTD or SF Gadv's GASM (or something quite big) then, I would hold on, but for the (possible) second ride, my hands would most likely leave the restraints and 'end' on my lap or then I would hold them up, if the ride is good, has airtime, is fun.
  18. My favourite video out of those 5 was Julian's Johnson's Don't Look Down 2005, nice music, good editing to the music, many coasters, happy faces etc. The other videos were also really good, I can't wait to see more.
  19. ^ I'm sorry, I don't have another photo of it. I'm quite sure it was a ride and on the facade there was other 'drawings' of mystical things and some of horror peeps like Frankenstein etc. Here are some other photos of the park. some yellow track of Crazy Mouse. Crazy Mouse + the Top Scan, which had a 'dance-related name'(the park was full of them) which I can't remember now. The ten annoying Big Wheel tokens lying on a red bench. My first coaster of 2006, after an over half year long period without any rides. the Kiddie coaster. A big nice looking 'exhibition hall' building, the (Luna) Park is behind it.
  20. ^Yeah, it's a shame and it was indeed difficult to find it. Also, I forgot to say that, I looked on a free newspaper, when I was in that city and saw an article about the park and I also saw the word "Booster" mentioned, and that's about all I understood. Well, before the trip there I read a tripreport on onride.de, from the end of March this year, about the park and also saw pictures of a Fabbri Booster there, but sadly it wasn't there when I visited. A thing that I find a bit strange is why the park has only 1 coaster listed on rcdb.com, but I saw 3 of them, of course it could be so that the 2 coasters are owned by traveling showmen etc, and not permanent, which I don't hope as otherwise I would (have) get (got) an extra credit (the kiddie coaster was broke).
  21. Hello everyone, Here's a trip report of Lunapark in Prague, the Czech Republic, which I and my family (sister, parents and grandparents) made a short visit to on 17.4.2006. First of all the park was quite hard to find. It was in the outskirts of the city, if I and my dad and sister hadn't been cruising with the tram the evening before, when we spotted the lighted 'Big Wheel', then it would've been much harder to know where it is, as it was said that it's in Stromovka Park, but really it's right beside it, and the Stromovka park is like 3 square miles big. Anyway, we got there about 11 am, and left around 12.30am. The weather was alright, sunny and around 57F (14 degrees celcius) warm. The park wasn't exactly empty, but still the queues were short and you got straight on the next ride/train. The 'park' is really like a big fun fair, and you have to pay separately for each ride, which really confused me in the beginning, because there were no signs or texts or whatsoever in English. When I walked into the park I walked to a big, central stall saying 'Kassa' which I understood means Cashier, and I saw the price 40Kc (~1.7$) and I showed with my fingers that I want ten 'tokens', because I saw them lying on the desk, and I payed. Then I walked to the old S.D.C. Galaxi coaster 'Horska Draha' and noticed that there's a mini stall, next to the ride, I handed over 2 tokens (my sister was with me) to the old guy sitting in there, he said "Ne" which means no, shook his head and did a circle with his hands and pointed at the giant wheel and then pointed at the colorful tokens, which had an carving of a wheel on them, and then I realized what a big mistake I had made. I was annoyed. Then I went back to the "wannabe main cashier" and tried to talk to the woman in English, if I could get my money back in exchange for the tokens, of course she couldn't understand anything, and when I shoved them to the desk she pushed them away, then I thought well whatever... Then I walked back to the Galaxi coaster, paid its price 30Kc and rode it, it was ok, shaky, could've been worse for a 36 year old... Then we ran to a small powered kiddie coaster, but when beside it, we saw it having a slow rollback, from the terrible height of 10 feet. Then we though WTF! and ran to Crazy Mouse. After that it was Crazy Mouse's turn, it was a regular Reverchon spinning mouse coaster, alright, got some quite nice 'backwards airtime on the last hump'. Then I got on my first Top Scan ever! It was actually good, the ride program was really long, like 3 minutes, it was well worth 70Kc. After that I rode a small KMG Afterburner type of flatride, which was really good, great airtime, the ride lasted for long, but it did also spin like hell and got me feeling quite nauseous. Quite soon after that we left the park, it was quite a quick visit, but I didn't really feel like riding more to be honest. Other rides in the park include: 3 dark rides, a breakdance, smaller Huss Condor, 'Scrambled eggs'/Twister ride, River Rafting, Bungee - a big ejection-seat ride, lots of kiddie rides. --- I will post more photos when I found the cable of the other camera, and other memorycards. Me in a small playground (outside the park) and before you ask, it's not a walking stick, and I'm not crushing ants... It's a spinning stick, with a footrest and some quite nice G's, especially if somebody helps you to get it spinning. Onto the park. Here's Jurassic Park, the older ground-breaking concept (of IOA's ride) which was only a temporare waterride. The random and funny looking "Jumping three headed seamonsters under the command of the center gorilla" ride. some kiddie rides. ... ... The "where to put your excess flagpoles ride". The Crazy Mouse and the Huss Condor ride, in the background. Here is the 'Bungee' ride and the Afterburner type of ride... and the inflatable cock ride, in the background. the S.D.C. Galaxi from 1973. I think Draha means 'train'.
  22. Soccer, play it (in real life and on computer), watch it, love it, Badminton, Music, TV, Collecting different flavored Fanta cans, which haven't really progressed in a year...but it's still one of my absolute favorite hobbies! That's about it.
  23. Sometimes a HUSS Booster and some swinging ships and some very spinning Afterburn - resembling rides, makes me feel quite sick. I have never felt even a little 'sick' on or straight after a coaster, except for a Reverchon spinning coaster, which spun like hell once.
  24. Well, I've only been on two... 1. Nemesis 2. Nemesis Inferno 3. ? 4. ? 5. ? Hopefully by the end of this year, I can add Katun and Black Mamba somewhere on that list.
  25. Some of my 'closet' coasters: Jet Star (Schwarzkopf Jet Star 2) - Särkänniemi Korkkiruuvi (Vekoma Whirlwind) - Särkänniemi Vampire - Chessington World of Adventures Schweizer Bobbahn - Heide-Park
