"Missä X" - Sour candies are of good value, though can be distracting, if you eat them while watch TV in the late evening, while streching your toes. I'm more tired now, then I am on school mornings, when I wake up about 6.15 am. Anyway this should be a good day.

The Official "Champions League 2005/2006" Thread!
Tömmioh replied to Hattuchili's topic in Random, Random, Random
It was great that Arsenal beat Real Madrid!. I hope Arsenal win or play a draw at Highbury, so that Real Madrid would 'fall out' of the Champions League. Also I hope Barcelona can take a revenge over Chelsea tonight, even though it's quite difficult. But when they play at Nou Camp after 2 weeks with over 90'000 something supporters, it should be easier. I'm still gutted over Man Utd loosing against Benfica. Sören: Werder Bremen have played quite good in Bundesliga, scored many goals and they are quite a nice team to follow, but it's going to be tough against Juventus (my favourite Italian team), anyway I would rather see Werder Bremen win, than AC Milan, which I hate. -

There are quite many countries where I would like to live: Sweden, Denmark, Germany, England, Holland/The Netherlands, Belgium. I've been to all of them, they are nice countries with friendly people. The language wouldn't be a problem, except for Dutch which is a bit difficult. One of the 'problems' with living in Finland, is that it's a bit 'isolated' from the rest of Europe.

Are you a coastertool or a coasterfool?
Tömmioh replied to rollermonkey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Coasternovice, 64 coasters. If I would've ridden some rides instead of 'chickening out' a few years ago, and if some rides hadn't been closed, if I had more time in the parks, and if we could've stopped at a few places we drove right past (ie. BonBon Land, I saw Vildsvinet's top of the lifthill), then my count would now be around 85, if not more, but that still makes me a 'novice'. -
Yay, had a nice Friday evening again! in other words: Went to the cinema, swam a bit, sweated in sauna, watched 'the Brit Fridays three comedy's: Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps please, Little Britain, Bottom (well they can be quite crap at times, but usually they're ok). Right after it's time for Conan O' Brien, and then back to the computer for a while. (including eating old 'Romantica', lol. ice cream/ frozen redcurrants and 'meatpie'- (well actually it's a small pastry, but it's translated to meatpie in English), on the commercial breaks). Also, tomorrow is the first day of a 9 day long holiday.

No. Were you sitting on a sofa an hour ago?

After being hungry and looking at the tablecloth for a long time, my eyes 'went like this' and now I can't anymore decide, which slice is bigger and more appetizing.

People that don't understand
Tömmioh replied to CoasterCrazy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My parents don't really understand why I like coasters and parks and traveling to other countries, because of them, so much, one of the reasons is that, they won't ride almost anything, except for some rapids, flumes and monorails. They are still surprisingly supportive at my hobby though. My mom still thinks it hurts or makes you sick 'to go upsidedown' ( or in other words to: invert), of course it can make you sick and hurt, but usually it doesn't on new looping coasters, and she won't believe me. My sister does also think that I'm too interested in coasters, she likes coasters too, but simply not as much, which is fine. -

I'm happy that Finland got a silver in men's Ski jumping and Markku Koski quite surprisingly won a bronze in Half-Pipe, but it's slightly annoying that if Antti Autti hadn't slipped Finland could've got another medal. Anyway, I hope they win more soon.

Nice photo report, it made me want chocolate , Lion is also one of my favourite candy bars. Dark Vampire: We can also get them here in Finland, I think it's because Lion is a Masterfoods brand, and they've or atleast had they're 'headquarters' in the Netherlands/Holland and maybe they're therefore 'easier to get' in Europe.

Nemesis is truly unique, and it was a big step forward for the coaster industry, when it opened in 1994. What can I say, The ride, location, terraining?, 'the story' and themeing are great and the layout is one of the best I've seen. Well, even though it's great as I said earlier, I think it's a bit overrated and the themeing isn't really as fantastic as many people claim, but it still doesn't have a rival in it's 'class' atleast until Black Mamba opens.

Intamin Accelerators
Tömmioh replied to HCOSurfer90's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I've only ridden Rita and Kanonen, Kanonen is my favourite out of those two. I'd of course love to ride every accelerator, especially Storm Runner, TTD/Kingda Ka (and Speed Monster). -

Phantasialand Discussion Thread
Tömmioh replied to roeterich's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I might also pop down there in June, even though it's annoying (atleast for me) that the flight tickets would only cost 90$ in April, and about the double in June...thanks to the WC, no I didn't flush down my old tickets, I meant the World cup in Soccer. Anyhow, it looks so great that I'll try to be there, seeing as the themeing, plants and trees are also most likely more green and beautiful than in April (if it opens then, which seems unlikely) and the mainland European kids still having school (although maybe classtrips) then. -

I would basically like to ride any coaster that I haven't ridden yet. Here are some examples: Expedition Geforce Silver Star Top Thrill Dragster S:RoS (SFNE) Medusa Hulk Katun Dodonpa Boulder Dash X Viper (SFMM) Riddler's Revenge Mamba or some other Morgan/Arrow hypercoaster (excluding PMBO, because I've been on it.) any Schwarzkopf preferably looping -and the list goes on.

Yep, have to agree, it sure looks tasty! (looks 1000 times better than the pasta Bolognese we get at school with its brown, sewage like sauce.) I really like the shot of the pasta falling to the saucepan, with the shadows on the wall .

The new casting looks quite good in my opinion. I think Luna Lovegood looks just like Draco Malfoy's sister or like a Lucius Malfoy-young girl 'edition' though!

I've only taken my camera on 2 coasters: On Megafobia at Oakwood I had it lying in my lap, and the ride operator told me to put it away, so I did. Last summer at Alton Towers' Runaway Mine Train, I did also have it lying clearly visible on my lap, the ride operator didn't say anything, he just smiled weirdly. I could sneak my camera on a ride, but it just somehow feels wrong, I am a bit afraid that someone working for the park could notice it, and maybe punish me. Last summer at Linnanmäki, I was told to go away, when I filmed Pikajun (a Mack Blauer Enzian coaster) offride near the exit, it was quite strange and also annoying. I don't either want to film POV's if I am in a foreign park and there are long queues, so that I can't be sure if I can ride the coaster again, because if I can only ride once, I want to fully enjoy the ride, without anything distracting me (in this case the camera). Well, then again I don't get 'so great' footage for videos, as some who film POV's do, but I try my best with offrides, parkvideos etc.
