  1. HOLY CRAP! How long is this thing supposed to be?
  2. This can't possibly be the largest water park in America. Do they mean Largest INDOOR waterpark? --Robb Go here and look at the link to the video under the picture. "Kalahari is the largest indoor water park in America..."
  3. Let's see how many times they've done this: Wicked Twister and Voodoo. Talon and Behemoth. Magnum XL 200 and Steel Force and Mamba. Spinning Dragons and Iron Dragon and Top Thrill Dragster. Wild Thing and Hydra and Raptor. And I'm sure theres more than that. At least when Six Flags does it they do it on rides that are the same or are themed the same, CF seems to just randomly copy paint schemes of rides that aren't similar. These colors don't even seem to reflect the theme of Voodoo at all!
  4. I was hoping for red, yellow, and dark purple (almost black). I guess we just get Wickeder Twister...
  5. "Untrimmed" LMAO! -Justin "very well done" Seabaugh
  6. There's one of these at Big Surf at the Lake of the Ozarks here in Missouri, they are EXTREMELY fun, and pretty dang thrilling for a water slide.
  7. Well I attempted to get my SFStL pass this morning but the site was still broken so I sadly went to school. However, SF has extended the sale for SFStL ONLY and the site is now fixed. So if you were trying to get a SFStL pass yesterday and couldn't, you've got until midnight tonight (east coast time). Link
  8. ^Thanks for the help I was just about to call them. I'll check again at 8:00 and 8:30 and let everyone know if it's working again.
  9. They will probably just be used to make sure the train is going the right speed. I know that the new trims on Timber Wolf at WOF weren't used on every run, and they had proximity switches before them. If the train was going too fast there, they were used, if it was going the right speed, they weren't. That's probably what these will be used like, just a speed check.
  10. I am trying to buy one but I cant seem to find where to put in the credit card information. I get to the check out page but it doesn't have any billing information so when I click edit to put in the credit card info it just takes me to the agreement page. Anyone else have this problem and if so how can do you fix it? I really want a pass, any help is appreciated.
  11. The turn in that second pic looks like it will have some insane positives! This coaster is looking better and better with every update. Cant wait to see a POV (I'll never get to ride it).
  12. HOLY CRAP! With this discount a season pass at SFStL is only $41.24! That's less than normal admission + the 5 free tickets! Wow, I just can't believe how good of a deal that is! I let my parents know and they were surprised too... I'll almost definitely be getting one. Nice find KGA29.
  13. I don't give a crap if it's cultural or not! I don't go around taking pictures of people and then making fun of them because it's rude; enough said!
  14. Is it bad that I still don't buy into it? I mean, sure, there are disorders that make it harder to burn fat, or make it harder to exercise, but I think the degree of severity is almost always blown out of proportion and used as an excuse. Have you ever heard of somebody who gave an honest, hard effort to lose weight and didn't? In every case I've ever seen, whether it's a person I know, a story I've read, or a special on TV about obesity, the people who get bigger just don't put enough effort into it. If you legitimately have something wrong with you, wouldn't that be motivation to take action against it? A few close family friends have all been severely overweight for years (they are in the same family). Well, they all started dieting and exercising more, and all of them have lost at least 50 lbs. My family has little bit of a history with obesity too, which has caused problems with my brother and I. We have both been considerably overweight in our lifetimes, and we've both lost considerable amounts of weight. Our metabolisms just suck. But what do we do? We have self control. We both eat as healthy as we can and exercise as much as we can. Sure, it might "suck," but it's the price you have to pay. Now obviously we weren't nearly as overweight as the lady in the picture (though a few of those family friends weren't too far away), and I know that my personal experiences and observations don't vouch for the entire population. But again, have you ever known somebody who put in a legit effort and didn't lose weight? It's about self-control and will power. I'm not trying to sound like a dick. If somebody can show me evidence that proves my theory wrong, I would really like to see it (I'm not doubting that it's out there). Anyway, I should probably shut up. I feel like I'm becoming a catalyst for an argument/taking this thread completely off topic. My main point is that it is simply sick to take pictures and make fun of other people just cause they are overweight. I am skinny so me being fat is not why this is getting me. Taking a picture of someone for the sole purpose of making fun of them is WRONG. If they want to get fat, then GREAT! Whether it's their fault or not, it just ticks me off. To me it's like saying "Hey everybody, let's go make fun of the poor single mother who has to resort to prostitution to pay the bills. I mean, she could definitely get a job and make her life better, but she isn't so she must just be a horrible person." -Justin "I don't know why this is ticking me off so much, but I just don't like what I'm hearing." Seabaugh
  15. It it makes me even more angry that people are so quick to judge. Ever notice that some people have disorders or diseases that make them fat? Ever heard of genetics? Sure some people are just food addicted slobs, but other people truly can't help it, and people staring, taking pictures, and making fun of these people just ticks me off. Looking at that picture actually makes me really sad, and makes me feel sorry for her. My god people, you don't say "wow look at that guy with no legs, he must have loved laying on train tracks!" do you? -Justin "Do people have any feelings anymore?" Seabaugh EDIT- Not specifically directed at CTU Agent
  16. Enough said. Work accidents alone cause on average 14 deaths DAILY. And we don't see people complaining about how much safer work needs to be all the time now do we?
  17. I hated the voice over too! It completely ruined the video. He was all "wow" and "woah" and "that was so cool" but he said it in such a way that it sounded like he was being sarcastic. Cool looking ride though.
  18. Mr. Freeze in the front seat on the backwards run. Amazing hangtime, you're literally hanging from you lap bar for a second. Pure bliss. I love it.
  19. ^^Last time I checked those details had already been posted a couple pages back. Thanks for the pointless post. Is it just me, or are other people getting less and less excited about this ride with every new update? It just looks way too mediocre to me now...
  20. I think they need to give Boss another chance when they go to SFStL to get their THBS and EK credits. Ive had some of my best rides ever on it within the last two years, and considering they like airtime, Boss is definitely delivering.
  21. Please explain to me how you can look at a coaster and tell it has a rattle??? Listen closely to the audio. Definitely some rattling going on.
  22. I think I found a few more that might qualify as "close-ups with a train" or "close-ups that aren't all too close" The trouble I seem to have with taking a somewhat close-up shot AND including a train is that it doesn't always turn out as well...
  23. ^Haha, it's really more that brakes just fascinate me. The way they stop a multi-ton train traveling a high rates of speeds is just cool to me.
  24. Haha that one is nice, but it's the brakes that really get me off!
