Just to update, the line last night when I waled by was only 25-30 minutes total. You waled? HAHA Typos are fun kids! And that may be now, but soon the massive amounts of crowds will descend upon the resort for the "last christmas" and I'm sure the wait times will climb back up the days I'm available to go haha. They should open a Potbelly's in Gardenwalk, I'd be ALL over that in a minute!

Lame. I'm fine with KBF adding another family coaster and not some dumb B&M (Hyper/Giga/ Mega/ Nega whatever), I'm NOT fine with them adding another fucking mouse in California. I was really hoping for more of a Zierer ESC-type coaster that essentially is a more thrilling version of a Roller Skater. Not the same ride that you can find up the street (Goofy's Sky School) even if they add an extra drop in there. And having ridden the Larson Flying Scooters at Castle Park, they pale in comparison to the Knoebel's Flyers, but are still a fun ride that should fit in fine. Scrambler is always a welcome addition every time it comes back a different color lol.

I like Earl, I try to hit it up every time I'm in Vegas or DTD Florida or even when they had the shop in Valencia when we used to hit SFMM a few years ago, but I will NOT wait more then 10-15 minutes for it. Sometimes the lines in the existing locations push the limits if it's out the door (except for Valencia which never had a line and I'm guessing is why it closed haha) SO I'm guessing it'll be quite some time before I get a sandwich at this location.

I was there the same night as William and it was a mad house! We didn't get there until 8PM or so, but luckily we already had our Front of the Line passes and barely had enough time to squeeze everything in by 1 am. I have to say I love how much Hollywood has embraced Bill and Ted though. It seemed like when I went two years ago I was the only person cheering for the two guys, but this time the audience seemed much more into the whole production. And I just about died when they did Book of Mormon./ghey I was really happy overall with the event, but felt it does need an additional maze or two or perhaps bringing back another show to spread out the crowds a bit more as from what I saw most people will just be waiting in lines.

Not to get this into too far into a political topic, but Romney did sign the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) pledge while pursuing the Republican nomination back in August 2011. Though that doesn't necessarily mean he will follow through with any of it, he still did put his name on it. And Ryan has been quoted as saying we are too far into the repeal of DADT to try and fight it or reverse it. The pledge reads as follows:

^I think it's weird that their only other SoCal location for Portillo's is in Moreno Valley. I pass by it all the time heading to work but have yet to stop in cause no one has ever given a good review (or has even been), but I think I'll give it a try sometime soon.

For me, I don't bother with that crap. It's just like my music and everything else...if it sounds good to me, I listen; if it tastes good, I eat it, etc. etc. Same here, I enjoy Five Guys and In-N-Out (both within 10 minutes from me) but I would much rather just go to Carl's Jr. and get a Double Western Cheeseburger. I also really enjoy Whoppers from Burger King too though. The only other things around here are Red Robin and a place called Eureka Burger which I've heard mixed things about so I have yet to try them.

As someone who has had the same situation with no credit cards, I've gone with Budget a few times and have used my bank debit card (backed by Visa) as an acceptable method of payment with little hassle; just make sure you have a bit extra cash if they put a hold on it, as my last rental this past August in Philly was only a $0.12 hold. Though I don't remember it being much last October at MCO it was definitely a bit more but under $200 and the funds released as soon as I returned the car. Have you looked into possibly only renting the car for when you are in Orlando then using the cruise line's shuttle service to and from MCO to the Pier or staying in Cocoa Beach the night before your cruise and using the shuttle services offered in the area? I'm pretty sure their are car rental offices nearby with a shuttle back to the pier.

Seriously, seriously seriously going to try and make Texas/ Midwest work! Surprising that if I do, this would only be my second TPR trip. -
Favorite Standalone Haunts?

Really Excited for this year. I was just told about Haunted Play which is more along the lines of the New York one mentioned earlier (minus the period blood?) in LA with you being part of the story. It was created by Hollywood stuntman Jon Braver (Who's worked on movies like The Dark Knight Rises, Spiderman 2, Crank, and many others) and produced by Neil Patrick Harris, so there's a little extra tossed in the special effect department. It looks freakin' Awesome! -
If you watch the video closely, the second train doesn't actually launch until the first train clears the top hat (:55 in the . Not that SFMM employees could ever get that type of interval going outside of pre-loaded media day though. I have mixed feelings, I don't think this is what the park needed, but it sure does look fun!

New Amusement Park planned for... Tracy, CA?

Yup. -
That's a mighty awkward place for the fin, though I do suppose it hides the morning wood better .

Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread

^They sit at different points of the body, so it really depends on how thick your thighs are for Skyrush as opposed to Fahrenheit and Strom Runner which sit more on your belly, chest and shoulders. Though I can say at 265 lbs I had no problem with any of the rides at Hershey. Also Sky Rush is easily my new #1 despite it KILLING my thighs after my third ride. -
Can't say I'm an audiophile, but I freaking LOVE my pair of JLab J6 that I got for about $20 (sign up for their emails and add them on facebook, they ALWAYS have sales and deals to get their stuff cheap) and their return policy is really good. I have the problem that my headphone port is on the front of my laptop, so the cord is always getting snagged and tugged out of the slot. Eventually they stop working, and I've had this happen with a pair of Bose headphones too, so it's not a manufacturer defect. Did JLab's troubleshooting online and in a few minutes, they sent me out a new pair at no cost to me, and I didn't have to even send them the broken ones first. Got the replacement about a week later.

It wasn't, bad at all, the threat of thunderstorms I'm sure helped with the people. NOT with the humidity! Basically finished the park in about 80 minutes with the exception of possesed, that was closed all morning and I left the park around 12:30 to head up to Knobels. Stinger opened around 11:30 after having some downtime in the morning. Honestly the park is pretty meh, nothing really stood out to me as distinctly unique aside from Hydra just being really awkward, it seemed more like just a graveyard of old rides from other parks.

This is excellent Fat Kid Research for my trip this Wednesday. (!!!) -
^I'll toss in another $5 if there's a bonfire and video.

Just did a quick trip to the resort this evening. At around 9:00 I waited about an hour for Radiator Springs Racers (including a 15-20-ish minute breakdown) in the single rider line (Standby was at 150 minutes) and some of the effects are already broken. The Tractor cows were not tipping, and the final Luigi (before the race begins) was also experiencing some issue (which I heard was running fine all day until that point *shrug*) And I still feel the same way about the ride as when I rode it a few weeks ago. I like Test Track more.
