  1. Monday at midnight huh, I guess I'd better start building then.
  2. Judging from what I've seen in the rest of the park, this building will be completely filled with Disney/Universal grade theming.
  3. So you are finally going to finish your Talon project?
  4. It would ofcourse be 5x more awesome if it turns out that this ride is a dueling, one side with a lift and one side with a launch. Just dreaming out loud.
  5. Sent in my ballot this week: 1. Montu 2. Talon * Fav wood - Boulder Dash 3. Goliath (SFMM) 4. Batman (SFMM) 5. Tatsu (SFMM) 6. Flight Deck (CGA) 7. Riddler's Revenge 8. Kumba 9. Alpengeist 10.Dueling Dragons And the bottom ten: 102. Space Mountain (Paris) 103. Gold Rusher (SFMM) 104. Dream Catcher 105. Favorite Vekoma suspended family 106. Pony Express 107. Sierra Sidewinder 108. Favorite Tivoli 109. Rioolrat 110. Roller Soaker 111. Scandia Screamer
  6. Hmmm, not sure. A cutback is basically two corkscrews put together, while this looks more like a top-hat. So that would it make it an inclined-tophat. But I'm down with Banana-roll as well
  7. Aren't tell supposed to fly an American flag when the track work is complete? I thought flag were just for 'highest point reached'-stuff. I could be mistaken tough.
  8. Hurray..I won stuff. Not there was much competition, however I still want to thank everybody who downloaded and ranked my track. I hope you all enjoyed the ride.
  9. Umm lets see, I rode some coasters alone during TPR ERT, when everybody else had already gone to the next ride. From the top of my head: Silver Bullet at Knotts and Viper, Tatsu and Revolution at SFMM. Then there's Toverland, which is very near to me and open everyday. So there are days when there are only 50 people in the park. So that would add Boosterbike, Boomerang and Troy.
  10. Yet you still fail to show us how the box-track looks from the inside
  11. Ok, here's my submission: http://www.themeparkreview.com/game_exchange/track.php?id=1761
  12. Just wondering...what exactly are those 'points' you say we could win? EDIT: Nevermind, I found it.
  13. Isn't that the truth? You are going backwards on the brake-run of X2, right?
  14. If your budget is tight, you might wanna read how other members save up for trips: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=27861
  15. Well, if the choice was totally up to me, I would choose these ones: Montu Goliath SFMM Boulder Dash Talon El Toro SFGAdv The name of the park, either Lamborghini World or Planet Hollywood Park.
  16. ^Lol. But seriously, the speed can be affected by the weather, weight of riders and temperature. In optimal vs. worst conditions, speeds could vary a lot. For example, if you ride El Toro by youself in a morning in december or at the end of the day with a full ACEr-laden train at the end of an august day. I think most of you know what I'm talking about.
  17. Perhaps you changed the environment? Try putting it back to Sunny Day or something.
  18. You could place a brake segment, and have a stop time of several seconds. You do have to get the trigger position exactly right. Brake too early and your train will still be level, brake too late and train wont be stopped. But if you look closely at the (newer) divemachines, you can see they are not stopped, but rather slowed down A LOT, so you could also make it work by placing a lift segment with a low speed and high deceleration.
  19. It is hard to explain. It might help to look at it coaster by coaster. If there are a certain amount of people that have ridden coasters A and B, and the majority prefers coaster A over B, coaster A will be ranked higher. If you crosscheck this will all the coasters in the list, you can build up a ranking with the best accuracy.
  20. I might have missed it before but... THERE GONNA BE A TPR DUBAI TRIP?
  21. Looks about the same to me: http://rcdb.com/777.htm?p=1192 http://rcdb.com/3631.htm?p=18676 http://rcdb.com/777.htm?p=12205 http://rcdb.com/3631.htm?p=19385
  22. In the early days: Yes. But since Ferrari got bought by Fiat, it's all about selling cars for the purpose of making money.
  23. Filled out the ballot this morning. Ranking the top and worst wasn't hard, but the medium coasters were hard to group. Anyways, here it is: 1. Boulder Dash Lake Compounce 2. El Toro SFGAd 3.
