How tall was the regular one?

I am planning a trip the second week of June, possibly on either Wed, Thu, or Fri. Can someone tell me if this is a good time to go? (Weather, crowds). Thanks!

What exactly is this ride supposed to do?

That's kind of like saying you're the only guy left with Herpes. What an extremist. The park is doing it no matter what the enthusiast community has to say about it. The park will be getting another ride which is always good. What I am still bummed about is Busch losing BBW. I never got to ride it.

At the very least , Dorney will have bragging rights to the only Freefall ride like this in the USA.

So I assume the week of June 7 will be ok to go crowd-wise? I plan to visit on a monday and tuesday. Then hit Busch later in the week.

Just noticed on the park's website they are NOT operating the week of Memorial day! I thought most parks in this chain are going to daily operations by then. They are open Monday, obviously then close until Friday. Seems strange. Busch is scheduled to be open that week. Maybe this will be updated (I hope) I was planning to visit first week of June before the crowds start.

They already have the S&S towers. Why another one?

So is there any info anywhere on what caused the fatalities. Someone wrote on here 2 of them since 2005. What coasters? What happened?

Seriously, stop over-analyzing this! Why would someone say it will kill somebody? Has PAX ever had any fatalities on their rides? Have any of their rides collapsed? NO! Just because it does not look like a Intamin or a B&M don't put it down. I think it's very original, if only for that unique reverse point being inverted.

I would not call this a new "ride". Technically its not a ride.

If you guys hate SLCs so much (Six Flags America) why do you continue riding them?

I have taken the Pearl Blossom highway route, and it is no way at all 6 hours! At most I would say 5. That is without any stops at all.

How is that possible to ride backwards? That can't be recommended by the manufacturer. Hence the injuries.

Wow its just sitting in the dirt! Not very appealing park design I should say. As for the ride never operating, why don't they just have Zamperla come out and overhaul the whole ride? Or the park really does not care about it ever operating?

Themeing the old freefall to a mine shaft sounds interesting. Breathe new life into a old ride. I have never seen a 1st gen. freefall themed at all. It might work out to be new experience.

So I guess Cedar Point is making room for something??
