Great way to enjoy the park without any crowds! I noticed also , that this might be the only park to have a regular frisbee and a giant frisbee.

Not much of a change in that lineup. I will wait a couple of years before going back.

Thnaks for the info! You can really tell it's a Schwarzkopf by that trademark diving twisty first drop. Looks like a really oversized runaway mine train. I am glad this park rescued it, seems like a nice solid ride.

Well it is nice if the parks gets new flats, lets hope they keep all of them this time, make sure they operate reliably and are not lawn ornaments like so many of those in the past.

I really dont understand this park. Years ago in the 90's they added a ton of flats , and some good ones I might add. A Frisbee, a Jump, Evolution,Octopus, Inverter, and a few others I think. Why has this park removed every single one?? This has got to be the park that removes so many of its rides, even though they have so much space here. I can't figure it out.

I still dont understand why they got Shoot the Rapids when they have Snake River Falls. Not much difference.

One of the few parks (in the US at least) to have a Ranger ride. I didnt know this park had one.

Just got it in the mail and was shocked to see it reduced to a large foldput pamphlet instead of the nice magazine with tons of pictures they used to have. Cutting back on expenses I assume?

Incredible shots of Patriot! Just one question though, why does the station look like a ski lodge or cabin? Seems out of place and themed wrong. Patriot's colors are great though.

That park doesnt look too exciting. Seems like it could use some more theming, and what is with those huge headrests on the sides of Knightmare's trains??

There is still one located at Circus Circus Adventuredome in Las Vegas.

So what was the reason why this coaster was so short-lived at this location?

I would rather see a woodie than a flyer replace BBW. Flyers tend to make me queasy for some reason. (Tatsu) I think its the position of the body that does it for me. I reallly wanted to see Busch this year but now that BBW is gone I would rather wait til they get a replacement. It better be something spectacular considering now King's Dominion now has I305.

Why is the park closed June 1-4??? The weather should be great! Kings Island is scheduled to be open AND Busch! Hell, all Cedar Fair Parks will be. What gives? Are they on a budget or short staffed? I was planning to go those days.

Well the other reason SFMM is keeping it , is probably because they want to have a high coaster count (competing with Cedar Point). It is also very popular. Parks tend to keep rides with that are popular with the GP.

Wondering if the location of Intimidator right near FOF will make lines for that ride stay longer now? Oh and seriously, 85 degrees in April?? WTF??

By the pictures it looks like everyone is dressed for summer. Is it usually that warm in VA in April?? I also wonder how Busch down the road feels about this, and they removed a coaster and not getting anything new this year. I hope they plan something major next year to compete!

I ate at Spaghetti Factory and really enjoyed it. I guess being from the US the exchange of money and the value of the US dollar is not much here, thus seeming more expensive.

Brings back good memories of my first time there. I loved Mindbender, but I thought the park was a litle small and mostly too many kiddie rides. I also liked the Solar Flare ride too. That new ride is tiny though, I would have thought they could have put in a larger version. I enjoyed the mall, theme park and water park, but the stores and restaurants seemed very expensive.
