Think about it - with all the parks closing and all of the hardly used rides on sale why would you display new flat rides? All of which parks??

Wow that is really pathetic they had nothing ouside except some lame kiddie rides.

I wouldnt be surprised if SF sells off or closes this park in a couple of years. There is nothing special here at all Except CHANG and GREEZED L. It has a horrible layout, with a street thru the middle of the park, and the water park right inside in the center. Really bad design. Better off keeping it as a water park and just expand it that way, and move all the other rides to other SF parks. The accident with the Drop tower didnt help this park either.

Does anyone know why it is being removed?

I thought Tony Hawk was way too short of a ride, and not really worth waiting maybe 5 or 10 mins tops. Too bad ZONGA was gone. I would have preffered that instead.

I was there last week and it's still empty. Nothing going on there at all. I agree it would make a huge massive maze for Haunt if they did that. Another thing about Knott's I can't figure out when I was there: Why have a Johnny Rocket's, and a couple of buildings down Coasters grill? They look almost exactly alike, and almost offer the same thing. Seems a waste to me. There was a rumour Perilous PLunge was leaving, and if that happens, combined with the old Dnosaurs building, it would free up lots of space.

I visited the park this month on a Sunday, and was dissapointed. It was too damn crowded for Oct. I didnt understand it. 1 train running on KONG, and ROAR! Thanks alot Six Flags. I gave up waiting for ROAR and never got to ride it. They should change the name to- LINE! (you'll never see the end of it) The place is just a glorified zoo, and not a very impressive one I might add. At least I enjoyed MEDUSA abd V2. I would not return here again.

I hope nobody falls out of it! Im sure Intamin learned from their mistakes and the design of the boats and restraints from the other 2 models.

Geez who was that big nerd with the goggles on Kingda-Ka? (someone needs to get laid) I can't believe they finally featured the Mindbender in Canada! They never show this ride EVER on any coaster shows. What a nice surprise! It brought back nice memories of my trip there 2 years ago. I agree about the Cedar Point and Great Adventure rides. Why show Top Thrill Dragster AND Kingda-Ka?? Same rides. The Fahrenheight footage was nice! Firehawk at King's Island? It's old already.

Just wondering if anyone recommends this park, and if Oct is a good time to go? The park's website says they are open til Nov 2. 1. How is the weather at that time? (late Oct) 2. I plan on going on Sat. Will it be crowded? (Im sure it won't be, but I have never been there) 3.Are most of the rides open at the end of the season? I found really cheap flights here from my city and thought it might make a quick fun 1 day trip. I know it's a "traditional park" and I am not expecting anything like the big themers. But I would like to try WICKED, and Fire Dragon (double looper)- a dying breed, since Dorney's just got sold!! Any tips appreciated!!!

I have a couple of questions. 1. When did you go to the park that is was so dead? Because I would love to visit it on a day like that! 2. I wonder why Shockwave is still there? People still ride it? Will it be removed for the new rumored hyper coaster coming? Is it 2009 or 2010? Strange that is was so dead at the park, since I heard not to long ago, this was KD's best season ever for attendance, and they even had to turn people away at the gates. Did I read that here?

Just wondering if Fridays are a good time to visit. Are X2 and Deja-Vu operating without any downtime? Rides open on time? Thanks!

Does anyone know how construction is going on this ride? Expected opening date? It looked like the ride needed some major overhauling (especially the trains). Thanks!
