  1. When is the best time to visit the park? I want to go early in the season. Do they open right at Spring Break? I want to avoid that at all costs.
  2. Xcalibur is VERY rare. The only one of it's kind in America. Not sure if there are any more operating overseas. There used to be one on the German fair circuit called Imperator. Rumour was one is in China. Here is a video of one on the German fair circuit.
  3. Gwazi is pretty hidden from the walkways of the park . The most visible part is the entrance house. You can only see the whole thing up in the air from Sheikra or the new drop tower. I wonder if it will sit there as long as SOB did at KI.
  4. Seeing that it fits in a small footprint, I hope Busch does not bring one to Tampa and replace Scorpion with it. I'm sure it would fit in that spot.
  5. Just wondering does Gerstlauer handle spare parts and maintenance for Schwarzkopf coasters now? If someone wanted a Schwarkkopf model like a triple loop like Mindbender in Canada or a 5 looper could they actually make them?
  6. I agree. Something about this park makes it worthwhile to go. It may not be the biggest park, or park with the most rides in the world, but it has a very SOLID collection of coasters. I went this past Labor day weekend and loved it. The Beast was amazing. It was my first time on Diamondback, Firehawk and Banshee. All excellent rides. Banshee was fun but not very intense to me at all. I'm sorry but I found Firehawk less intense to ride than the B&M flyers. I have only riden TATSU and that ride made me sooo queasy! Firehawk did not do that to me at all. I prefer being on your back than completely face down, like TATSU. Hope to get back next year.
  7. This may have been discussed before, but why did the park remove The Crypt ride? (Giant Top Spin)
  8. So what was the controversy from that Miner's maze?
  9. Ughhh I saw the video too. I would'nt call this a HAUNT at all. Just an endurance test. Possibly even a training session to prepare yourself for being kidnapped by ISIS. I really don't get the appeal of this. This guy who runs it just seems like he is into this crazy stuff and wants to see how far he can get within legal limits. Makes you wonder what kind of people he hired that are willing to torture people. No thank you! I like my haunts the old--fashioned way. Scary BUT FUN!
  10. I actually like Premier's original cars (Mr Freeze) than the new design they have at Kennywood. They just look flimsy and ugly.
  11. I agree, just about all the coasters there are much better at night. Even Vortex and Adventure Express! Seriously though, Vortex is not that bad.
  12. That's awful for the big parks to get a ride like that! I can understand the smaller ones, but SFGADV or SFOG! These 2 big parks are known to get big thrill rides not carnival rides. Maybe if they made it a 100ft super loop with 2 next to each other.
  13. Here is another link confirming the soft opening. http://bgtfans.com/2014/falcons-fury-soft-opens-busch-gardens-tampa/
  14. Awesome news! I'm pretty sure it will be open Labor Day weekend when I head out there..
  15. That would be a dream come true if it came to the US. But I have a feeling it won't. Some small European park would probably snatch it up.
  16. The lake looked so much better before all the clutter of those water slides.
  17. How where you able to get in and take pictures? Do you work there?
