I guess Vortex isn't as bad as people say if the line is so full?

Why would anyone wait 45 min to ride a flying eagles ride? I don't get it.

yeah that's where KD messed up just my opinion. The water park should have been a seperate gate not inside the theme park. It just looks so cluttered right there by Anaconda. I dont know why they didnt just put all of the water park past Rebel Yell.

You would think they would demolish Hurler before getting rid of Thunder Road.

I thought the Busch parks were pretty strict about rain, and ride closures? I heard that was the case in Tampa. Not in Williamsburg?

There is an event on April 24 for winners of a contest to be among the "first 500 . . . to ride Tempesto" (8:00 to 10:00 pm). Perhaps the media will be included for that. Well they have already started letting people on it, so those first 500 won't feel so special now I guess. So I glad I will be avoiding the 25th and those crowds.

Official opening day is the 25th. Not sure if that is Media Day too.

Is there any reason why KD does not offer Fast Lane on several of their coasters?? Rebel Yell, Anaconda, Shockwave? I was surprised when I saw the list on the website for this year. Yet they offer it for flat rides like a wave swinger and Dodgem? I don't get it.

So is that Xcalibur/ Giant Evolution ride still there? I think it is the only one in the USA. Does it have much down time or is it pretty much open all the time? Just curious, I never got to ride at SFGA.

I will be going on April 24th Friday. I will miss Tempesto by 1 day! Unless they do a unannounced early opening. How are the crowds on a Friday early in the season? Weather? I am pretty sure I will be dodging huge crowds for Saturday on Tempesto's opening.

I think a newer shade of purple would have looked nicer than orange on Scream, but oh well.

On our way back we watched ShaKeira, but didn't ride. I don't really like the hang you over the top and drop you element, and since this was a one trick pony that does this twice along with an immelman and helix, i didn't feel i needed to ride (despite it being a walk on B&M drop coaster, which would probably make somebody somewhere crazy). This reinforced the concept of If you don't feel comfortable with a ride then don't do it. It is supposed to be fun! Boy did u miss out! One of the best rides there and you did Gwazi instead?? I don't get it.
