  1. It's the same one I embedded in the Skyline Attractions thread. Honestly, its nothing to get excited about. As like every year, the anwser is really vague and subjunctive. Besides, we know Skyline's new Skywarp will use the track design, so they could be talking about that.
  2. There were photos posted several pages ago on this thread. A construction update video was also linked, but the user removed it per Cedar Point's request.
  3. The little double down Screamscape is talking about is the prelift section we have all known about for some time now.
  4. RCDB still lists non-credit items. I think at best it will be called a powered coaster, and will be on RCDB. The track looks a lot like Raptor track. Although Raptor track is designed for vehicles only one passanger wide, where passengers will straddle the track, this concept is still, nonetheless, too similiar. T-Rex track is designed for trains 3-passangers wide. Maybe Skyline did develop their own track and is avoiding copyright and permit issues by designing it to be between the sizes of T-Rex and Raptor track? VIDEO REMOVED - Videos from this channel are not allowed on TPR.
  5. It's a lot bigger than I expected.
  6. This won't be conservative however it shows up. I also think three or four inversions would be just right; but I have no say in the outcome. Thats good to know....we dont want to trigger too many people with all those conservative roller coasters.... I wasn't bringing politics into this. My post was not sarcastic.

  8. This is beautiful. The sound made when an Intamin Prefab flies over an airtime hill.
  9. 1. Sweden/Germany trip: Kolmarden Liseberg Heide Park Oktoberfest Europa Park Phantasialand 2. Mediterranean trip: Portaventura (this trip would not have a theme-park focus) 3. Japan/South Korea trip: Fuji-Q Highland TDL / Tokyo DisneySea USJ Everland Lotte World 1. Knott's Scary Farm 2. Hollywood Horror Nights USO 3. Disneyland USA 4. Carowinds 5. Holiday World 6. Kentucky Kingdom 7. Six Flags New England I don't want anything to do with Dorney, but Demon Drop is high on my re-ride bucket list. I rode it at Cedar Point. Return to SDC and Dollywood, as I visited both before each received an RMC. I would like to go back to just Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, because I love the sh*t out of ToT and the new three new lands total across the parks would justify it. I could even use it as an excuse to finally go to Fun Spot Orlando. Return to SFGADv to ride El Toro again. I really need rip-my-face-off airtime. I've been spoiled by El Toro and other coasters no long can provide for my airtime fix.
  10. Geogria Cyclone really is stupidly good for whatever reason in the second to last seat.
  11. Those are not anti-rollbacks but just a technique used in track formation. I can only speculate the purpose within track formation, but I do know with certainty they aren't anti-rollbacks. They exist on every inch of track thus constructed:
  12. 2007: The Giant Barn Swing (SDC) 2008: X2 2009: Prowler 2010: 2011: 2012: 2013: 2014: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Zumanjaro 2015: Tempasta 2016: Cobra's Curse, Hulk 2.0, Skull Island Reign of Kong, Mako
  13. Restarted after recession. The rotation works by moving rides after a few years, so it isn't constant. But even now St Louis lost a flat to La Ronde for this season. The flat you're speaking of had been in the park for decades and starting to look worn down. Thank god it moved.
  14. My guess would be they did so because of people on the ride. Spinning around at 40 mph and hitting a tree branch with your leg probably wouldn't be super fun. Looks like they may be working on the entrance/exit walkways. No, they didn't. Starflyers have the ability to stop spinning before reaching the bottom.
  15. That's pretty impressive, considering lightning rod has only been operational for about three of those pages combined. True... most of the pages are people griping / theorizing about its problems. Somewhere squeezed in the middle is three pages discussing the new drop tower and coaster. LOL ...and an absurdly large portion was spent on the #itllneveropen drivel.
  16. Is that an airtime hill beginning to rise before the lift? It's nice to see the ledgers at the base of the lift done and track ready to be installed.
  17. The Boss would be my number one (and consequently my top five would be rearranged to look a lot like yours) if the Boss gave consistent rides between May-October. In the spring, The Boss is one of my favorite wooden coasters period, but can't even hold its own in the park by October.
  18. SIx Flags St. Louis: 1. Mr. Freeze 2. American Thunder 3. Batman 4. Screamin' Eagle 5. The Boss 6. River King Mine Train 7. Boomerang 8. Ninja 9. Pandemonium Six Flags Over Georgia: 1. Goliath 2. Georgia Scorcher 3. Mindbender 4. Superman 5. Batman 6. Dare Devil Dive 7. Dahlonega Mine Train 8. Blue Hawk 9. Georgia Cyclone 10. Great American Scream Machine 11. Joker's Funhouse Coaster
  19. It looks like the turnaround will be Shambala-style. I wonder too uf the drop will be steeper, ala Mako, than previous hypers have been. I would love to see a steeper drop become the standard with all B&M hypers from now on.
  20. You mean, SFGA Operations then your right. Great Adventure or Great America? There's no "G" in SFA.
  21. Is that an SLC visible at the entrance and in the upper right corners in the flyover scene after 2:00 min?
  22. Honestly, if they repainted it a greyish-black, it would not look too out of place. Even as it is now in its current shade of grey, they could name it after an eagle, or a 1800's flying experiment (a knock at SDC's Wildfire), and have a pretty forgivable placement. Nonetheless, the location over the creek will be neat.
