Nobody is showing up yet in my Parade.

I've added all of you guys. I look forward to seeing your Miis appear on my console. (Why do I feel dirty after typing that?) I'm waiting for Robb to post his console number.

^ Don't worry, Nintendo plans to have four million units shipped to North America by Christmas. What you probably won't be able to find are extra nunchuk controllers and the 480p component video cables. Nintendo really underestimated how many they would sell. Presonally I can't wait untill Nintendo comes out with a optical audio attachment, I want to play my Zelda in surround sound damnit! -

So It must be my modem, Which is strange because My DS never had any problems with my wireless connection. -

Could someone give me a yes or no answer if they can connect to the internet on their Wii right now? I'm beginning to suspect it might be my modem that the Wii doesn't like. -

I've just noticed something... It appears that I've gotten a system with no English manual. I do have the set up manual for the system which is in English but they seemed to have given me one Spanish and two French manuals on how to navigate thought the Wii's menus. I guess I'll have to email Nintendo to get the English one. -

Hmm... Nintendo's Server seems to be down. I wonder if they didn't expect this much traffic on the first day... Or more likely someone decided to have fun and frustrate all the Wii buyers by hacking the site. Too bad I would have like to see what games they had for download, because I'm craving old fashioned Tetris. Preordered my Wii back when it was still called Revolution. Everywhere seems to be out of extra controllers, but at least there seems to be a surplus of games. -
I'd Just thought I post an update picture of me I'm eating lunch in a local BBQ joint that has a Wi/Fi connection. About two weeks ago i decided to grow a goatee, It's not yet long enough for me to trim it to make it more even.

Just a simple poll I'm curious about, try to be honest. I've been thinking about starting a thread like this for a while to be a place where TPR members could support one another to loose weight and get healthier. The first month or so is always the hardest when you start working out. Before last May I almost never worked out, sure I took my dogs for a walk every now and then but nothing I'd call regular. Then I joined a fitness club with a couple of friends. I wanted to get myself into shape for the Theme Park Review UK trip, so I wouldn't be left behind at some of the bigger parks. After I came back I found that I had lost something like 14lbs while in Europe so I decided to keep at it in the Gym. I just weighed myself today to find that I have lost 40lbs since joining the fitness club in May. I was 250lbs then i'm 210lbs now. I hope to get under 200 within the next two months. My workout schedule as it is now: Day 1: Cardio: 30min. Weightlifting: Lower back, abs, and legs for 40-50min. Day 2: Cardio: 30min. Weightlifting: Upper back, chest. and arms for 40-50min. Day 3: Rest or if I feel like I have energy I go and do cardio for an hour. Repeat, but with different exercises for each of the above group of muscles.

HD 1080P Plasma or LCD Screen
darklingscribe replied to verticalzero's topic in Random, Random, Random
There are some differences between LCD and Plasma. LCD screens get worse when viewing them at an angle, for example the little LCD screen in my kitchen looks really dark when you look down at it, it has to be viewed at eye level to see a regular picture. Most LCDs are getting better about the viewing angle stuff but the cheaper ones still are hard to make out if not viewed directly in front. Plasma screens do not have any of the viewing angle problems of LCD screens and they tend to have richer, brighter colors than LCD, their only downside is that they are more expencive and much more fragile. Plasma screens can be ruined if you place them flat on the ground (don't quote me on this but I think it can displace the gas inside the glass panels). Plasmas must always be standing virtically. Remember that commercial about the guy who installs the plasma screen above his bed? You can't do that in real life. -
Wow. I seemed to have missed a lot in my time away from the boards because of midterms. Congrats Elissa and Robb, I hope your child is as much of a fanatic as you guys are.

Roller Coaster Game

Alap Alap (Wow there have been so many posts here that is is now nearly impossible to tell what coaster hasn't already been mentioned.) -
Sounds like you had some great fun. I just have one question for those of you that have been to the haunt before. I plan to go with my friends from the time the park opens at 10 and then to leave at 5:30 to walk to a place for dinner and then come back for the haunt. I know that I'll have to pay two seperate admissions but will have have to pay two seperate parking fees even though I plan on just leaving my car in the knotts parking lot from 10am to 2am?

I'm not sure if it's just my computer/browser or if it is the fact that I am also on a Mac but yeah WMV streaming video has never worked for me. I just prefer to download everything and I'll be happy as long as Robb continues to give a download option whatever the format. As for converting DVDs to the iPod format there are plenty of free programs out there. Here is the one I use: http://handbrake.m0k.org/ It only works for Mac and Linux. Once It's done converting the files Import them into iTunes and then right click on them and choose Convert Selection for iPod. iTunes will do the rest.

I just want to ask if Deja vu has been open for fright fest past years and is it likely it will be open for this year? Just curious, because I'm making a trip. I've already got the credit, it's just my friends who are eager to ride it and I don't want to get their hopes up, but I do want to give them and honest answer. The last three times they traveled down to SFMM with me it was during spring break and every single time Deja vu and Psyclone (not much of a loss there) were closed. By the way I hear every body talk about the quick way to get to Tatsu when the gates open, What is it? Is it that small path that goes behind Revolution's station?

I can't read German so somebody correct me on this. Is the second post in that message board saying it's and April Fools joke or is he asking if it is an april fools joke? Looks cool though I'd probably watch other people going on it for an hour before actually getting in line to ride it myself.
