Yes you can ride the coaster and ferris wheel. The physics aren't realistic at all but it was still cool to see in the game.

I have the iPhone 5 and a HP Touchpad tablet. The TouchPad was probably outdated when I got it since it was discontinued less than 2 months after it was released but I didn't care since they dropped the price from $499.99 to $99.99.

Your kinda coaster
YoshiFan replied to Diamondbacker27's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My 3 favorite coaster types are hypers, B&M inverts and Schwarzkopf loopers. I also like coasters with a lot of track so you get a lot of "value" for your time spent in line. -
San Andreas, it's also my favorite overall PS2 game. GTA V might have been my favorite but there was one flaw that made me like San Andreas more.

7 years ago on the first page I said City Jet at Gillian's Wonderland Pier for a coaster. I'm changing my choice to Laser at Dorney. It was my 3rd favorite coaster at the park and Schwarzkopf loopers are one of my favorite coaster designs.

What's your favorite Theme Park Souvenir?
YoshiFan replied to bert425's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I liked the Disney die cast ride attraction vehicles. They were cheap enough (I think they were $6) to collect and I liked having the ride vehicles on display. Sadly they stopped making them around 7 years ago. This is just one of the many ride vehicles they had (not my picture). -
The first movie, I liked it way more than the other 2 movies

I always try to watch some of the Olympics. I'm looking forward to Luge and Skeleton.

It's not specifically for airfare but I usually see some low prices posted on slickdeals.net, people occasionally post some really low fares or offers out there.

Go Karts Disappearing at Cedar Fair Parks
YoshiFan replied to John Peck's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The go karts at Dorney were never popular. It was rare to see more than 2 or 3 people using them at once and many times when I walked past them or saw them from Steel Force they were empty waiting for riders. They also used the track for a Haunt the past few years. I know it's not Cedar Fair but the go karts at Great Adventure seem more popular than at some other parks. They have deals running throughout the season and offer a season pass for them at I think $60 which probably helps increase rider numbers. If someone goes to the park a lot and really likes go karts it's a good deal since its $8 or $9 for a single ride. -

A Schwarzkopf would be a great addition, I had originally hoped they might buy Laser when it was removed from Dorney and with it for sale again, they could still get it or some other Schwarzkopf looping coaster. -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
YoshiFan replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Chickie's & Pete's will probably be very popular. Whenever I drive past any of their locations near me they are always crowded and the ones on the Boardwalk like in Ocean City, NJ almost always have long lines for the fries. I wonder how much they are going to charge compared to a non park location. The last time I went to one of their restaurant's, the burgers, sandwiches and cheese steaks were almost $9 without fries. -
I've seen a few Lego rides before but never that many different kinds especially all in 1 room. It's cool how they all fold up and into the trucks.

That's good to hear, I have Mario Kart 7 but opened it just to get the Club Nintendo code and register the game and only played the game once just to make sure it worked. Once I finish Mario Kart Wii, I'll look forward to playing Mario Kart 7.

Since Mario Kart 8 is be released this year I thought I should play through Mario Kart Wii. I got the game years ago and only played it a few times because I hate the controls with the steering wheel or using the Remote and Nunchuk. Since I got the Classic Controller last year, I decided to give the game another chance and it's a lot more fun using a regular controller but still really frustrating getting hit with a blue shell on the final lap right at the finish line and then dropping out of 1st place. I also got Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence for PS2 around 6 or 7 years ago and thought I should try to complete it (I ended up restarting the game since I was only an hour into it the first time I played it). I don't like it as much as MGS 1 or 2 but still think it's a decent game.

I haven't ridden a lot of water slides ( the only waterparks I have been to are Blizzard Beach, Sesame Place and Wildwater Kingdom). The worst waterslide I have tried is green slide of Wildwater Rapids at Dorney. It's a very short slide, and water is hitting your face almost the entire time and it's usually painful when you hit the water because it is so fast. It's the turquoise enclosed body slide in the picture below. The other 3 slides at Wildwater Rapids and the 3 Patriot's Plunge slides are all great though, especially the red Patriot's Plunge slide with the double down.

Forces or Theming?
YoshiFan replied to dropzonefan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd prefer forces and air time over theming. I like theming but would rather see the money spent on theming towards a better ride experience. -

Awesome photos, it looks a lot cooler than a regular 4D coaster. -
Worst (and Best) Parks for Plus Sized Guests
YoshiFan replied to etr102's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd agree with Disney being the best. I have never seen anyone turned away from a ride there although they don't have anything really extreme that would force them to use more restrictive restraints. -
Attractions near your theme park
YoshiFan replied to tarheel1231's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Great Adventure has a large outlet mall about 2 miles from the park. They actually used to be called Six Flags Outlets (or something similar) until a few years ago. Dorney has Iron Pigs baseball (AAA Affiliate of the Phillies) about 20 minutes away and Sands Bethlehem also around 20 minutes away with a casino and outlet mall. Hershey has a lot of attractions near the park. There is the Hershey Gardens, Hershey Museum, Zoo America (I know some might consider it part of the theme park though since it's free with admission to the theme park) and Chocolate World.
