After 17 long weeks, Pretty Boy Swag has taken home the Steel Coaster League crown. I was a little nervous going into today, but Matt Ryan, BJGE, Adam Vinatieri, and the Steelers defense saved me.

1. Flying Turns - prototype or not, it should not take a seemingly competent park 5 years to build a roller coaster. 2. Turbulence (Hershey) - reminds me of signing a cell phone contract and then them pulling the classic "Oh wait, there's some additional costs and fees that we haven't mentioned".

I'm thinking (well, hoping) it's more along the lines of a SFOG Goliath type ride.

Since Phoenix is 3 feet taller than the limit, I'm gonna have to go with Skyliner at Lakemont.

I do agree though, that looks insane.

Magnum Phoenix Twister Especially Phoenix and Twister. Night rides on those two at night during PPP are phenomenal.

I live maybe 15-20 minutes away...used to drive through there all the time. I can remember when there were a few buildings still standing on the main street, but nearly everything is wiped out now. I really don't understand why the people that live there (less than 10) continue to do so, especially when they were offered money by the government to leave and rebuild elsewhere.

Intimidator 305 and Batman: The Ride...Kumba is up there too.

Not really a big deal...if it was like coke or taking mass amounts of prescription drugs, then I'd be concerned. Anyway, my rant is that there is still 178 days until I turn 21 and can gamble/go to bars/get drunk legally. This is demoralizing.

He had to have been amazingly hung over the next day. Good stuff..

I'm hoping for a regular hyper coaster...Hershey already has two big "gimmicky" coasters...a dive machine would be a bit repetitive with Fahrenheit and Storm Runner there.

I also found it interesting that they listed X2's opening date as 2008. I know the ride was re-did was renamed X2 in '08, but it technically opened in 2002. Not really a big deal, but found it interesting nonetheless.

Sounds like a good idea. I wish Knoebel's would have gotten involved.

Why Knoebel's thinks building new trains is a good idea is beyond me, especially after the debacle/travesty that is the ongoing construction of Flying Turns trains.
