Robb & Elissa in Asia - 2016!

Can TDS adopt me? -
I rode it at the end of December in 2015. While it is rough, it is like the typical GCI roughness that shakes you around but it doesn't jack hammer. I personally don't get bothered by being shaked around since Millennium Force and Banshee do that too. I ended up riding Apocalypse maybe 3 or 4 times because it was awesome.

^It's offensive that you passed Dodonpa. I take that as a personal attack. -

RMC coasters are insane, but they are not at the level that makes you black out or hold on to the lapbar so it doesn't hurt your thigh. Intamin is at its own level. -
Favorite attraction never made?
gerstlaueringvar replied to Themonerd's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
More like high intensity adds to the maintenance costs. For example, the snappy transitions from the old B&Ms are fantastic but they wear out the track, side guide wheels and the upstop wheels a lot faster than the modern/slower transitions. As for wooden coasters, crazy airtime and lateral are very bad for the track and structure and we all know how expensive it is to do maintenance on wooden coasters. Money wise, tamer coasters are definitely the way to go. -
M&D Scotland's Tsunami derails

These quotes are from the first article in snoflake15's post. I find this article, especially these statements to be quite extreme and overblown. I mean sure, M&D's coasters may not be the safest according to reports but, that doesn't mean everyone else's coasters are dangerous as well. You're more likely to die on your way to an amusement park than at the amusement park itself. Some parents are extremely over protective and wonder why their children become easily bored in life. If you are the one on the train back then, I highly doubt you will ever go on a coaster without having any flashbacks. Just about any roughness from the track can freak you out so much that you will probably feel like the train is falling off. -
Yea that has been happening even before the park officially opened. What the CMs are doing now is matching the serial number on the ticket and the FP before guests get into the FP line. But there are tour groups that take back the tickets from clueless group members (usually older people or rural populations) and the tour guides sell their collected tickets to the scalpers to get FP. It's a very frustrating situation and most CMs are not authorized to do anything about it. I reported a line jumping/force entrance from an emergency exit when I was in line for Pirates but the CM can't do anything about it since eye witness isn't enough to get the police officers involved. Go to Shanghai Disney when the crowd level is absolutely minimum, and remember the CM there have the roughest lives.

I wish there is some massive hang time at the top of that loop! I will miss the top hat for sure but a loop means we don't have to brace for that horrible vertical trim brake. -

Have to go to this park! It's like one of those IKEA showcases that shoes off how much they can fit into a tiny apartment. -

If it still works, why not ship it somewhere else? Six Flags is opening two parks in China and there hasn't been a standup coaster in China at all. It's pure trash anywhere else but with a few fixes here and there, Cobra can find a new home in China at least for a few more years. -

I need Tylenol after reading the last 3 pages. -
Not the best thing ever but I so think it's one of the smartest. It's the kind of ride that makes you go like "I wanna bring my 5-year-old sister and my 85-year-old grandparents on it". Wish they had more merchandise at the exit though! Same as Frozen at EPCOT. Relatively low budget but successful as hell!

New Wanda Parks in China.

Wanda wants all of their Intamin to be incredibly tall and fast but do pretty much nothing more than that. Intamin has so much potential! -
