Yea, this is one of those rare situations where it sounds as if Six Flags has a much better operations strategy. Railblazer is equipped with the standard gates for each row, with an employee at the station entrance directing people to each row. However, they only fill up enough for one train at a time, and the trains come to a full stop in the station. Even with the attendants moving at a steady pace, it was difficult for them to get a train dispatched without the other train sitting behind it for several seconds, so I can imagine three-train operations involves a lot of stacking. Hopefully Six Flags ports over their operations procedure from Fiesta Texas.

Anyone ridden all the RMCs yet?

I've only been on five (one being Railblazer, which I feel I need to keep in its own category for being so unique compared to the other four). I really liked all of them, but if I had to rank them, I'd probably go with the following Lightning Rod - The downtime certainly hurts this ride, but that quadruple down is one of the best endings to a coaster I've been on. Joker- Only was able to ride this twice on my trip last month because it kept going down throughout the day (nearly every 8-10 dispatches, it seemed), but I really liked this layout. Nice twisty layout with enough speed to make the airtime more noticeable. Iron Rattler - Elissa raises a good point, and it's causing me to look at this coaster a bit differently. I think the beginning and ending are a lot of fun, but I agree, that middle section the top of the quarry just isn't interesting enough. Wicked Cyclone - The layout is fun, but it feels as if the design was intended for the speed to be just a little bit faster throughout. It meanders a bit too much for me. --- Railblazer - WOW, is this coaster an experience! To me, the airtime is intense, both in the front AND the back (I think I prefer the front, as it seems to launch you skyward over each of its hills). Makes me that much more excited to have Jersey Devil at my home park next year!! -
I wasn't impressed with Goldstriker when we visited last month. It has a great deal of potential and a great layout, but it was vibrating the entire length of the track. Not enough to be painful, but enough to notice and discourage re-rides. I tried once in the back and once in the front in order to rule out it being just a "back seat" issue, but I felt it strongly in the front, too.

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

Maybe he just wanted to let everyone know that he's a big fan of insulated coffee mugs. Quick - which coaster do you all think could benefit the most from the latest, greatest, cutting-edge Thermos technology? -
It's fair to say, though, that one-train operations like that are by far an anomaly at this park and nowhere near the norm. It's hard to forecast what operations on Jersey Devil will be like since we've never seen a single-rail coaster of this length and with a midcourse brake, but I'm confident that operations will remain smooth.

That's not just a simple "laying pavement" job. You've got significant changes in elevation and terrain challenges which would require some excavation. Look at it from the perspective of where the path would start from by Catwoman: There has to be a financial incentive for the park to create something like that and as Zand said, it would be diverting people AWAY from all the food / games / shops that you otherwise would have to walk past. No way the park is going to invest capital into something that will most likely result in a net loss for them.

So Matt Kaiser, one of the admins of the Great Adventure Connoisseurs FB group, mentioned over on GAH that the park's PR department confirmed to him that "the bonus clue is meant to confirm it is NOT a dueling coaster". You can take that however you'd like, but I've always felt he's operated with integrity and trust him on this.
