Pretty cool that he Kareem was there, as well! As an NBA fan (go Sixers!), I appreciate this attraction a lot. It wouldn't necessarily be high on my to do list upon my next trip down to Orlando simply because of HOW MUCH there is to do, but I can definitely the appeal and am sure it will be enticing to sports fans not as enamored with some of the other theme park stuff.

It's peak Fright Fest season at that point, so yea, crowds will suck hardcore. Going on Friday may marginally help, but that hasn't always been the case in recent years. If you're cool with just doing El Toro, Nitro, and Kingda Ka, that should be achievable, but plan for lines. Like, stretching-out-of-the-queue-and-wrapped-around-the-side-of-the-coaster lines.

Haunted Castle was located approximately where Cyborg is now. Yep, pretty much. You can see it here on the 1984 park map (year of the accident) in the corner by the theater: You can also see it here on this satellite image from 1979: Courtesy of HistoricAerials.com (obvs) Compare that to present day: For a while the park had a walkthrough gardens area in the location, but then that was turned into the Autobahn bumper cars:

I suggested it. You are welcome. Not often that you hear people complaining that it only took half an hour to get through US customs. I wonder how it could have been so short? Nothing to do with arriving early! Just be aware that US preborder clearance at YYZ is notorious for long lines and delay (US customs is known for that worldwide) so my suggestion was based on what Toronto Pearson itself recommends, what my colleagues who work at the airport recommend and what I have experienced myself travelling out of YYZ (it is my home airport and I work there so I have "some" idea). Saying I can "eat s***" because you had to get up early and didn't get screwed over at customs....don't really know what to say. Would you say the same to someone who suggested getting to a park for rope drop so that you can ride stuff without having to wait in line? I am sorry your flight was delayed though...that is something I sympathise with. I wouldn't normally respond to stuff like your comment, but it sounded like you would much rather get stuck in an hour and a half long line up at US preborder clearance. Glad you didn't this time...…..who knows next time. I suggest you experiment afew times with flying back into the US from various locations before giving abuse to someone who has actually done it. Anyway......Glad that you had a good visit to the park...great pictures. Sounded a lot more like he was just being humorous in a dry, slightly sardonic way. -

Nice report! Sucks about Runaway Tram. Really doesn't seem like the type of ride that should get delayed as much as it has. -

My father--in-law's two favorite types of candy are Twizzlers and the orange circus peanuts. I've never seen worst taste in my life. -

I'm all for I-boxing Wildcat. Red steel tracks - the "Twizzler Twister". Hershey, be sure to send the check once you're done raking in the money off of that one. -

Looks like it. Mako has 7 cars per train, but I don't see any records of other 6 car trains out there. Not really a huge surprise, but glad to have more details and renderings finally. This coaster looks great, will offer amazing views, and will undoubtedly be fun and very popular among park guests. Can't wait to get back to this place in 2020! Yea, I don't really get the short trains either, but it should still be a people eater. I do wonder how it'll impact back row rides and am curious to find out. -
^ Yea, the more I think about it, the more I consider the Tourbillions to be a bit of a failed experiment. They're certainly interesting concepts and are eye-catching, but combine a difficult loading process with neutered Six Flags operation cycles, and you get disappointment. When observing the crowds at Great Adventure, Wonder Woman seemed to be an instant hit, while Cyborg is nearly always a ghost town. If I were you guys, I wouldn't hope for a Tourbillion.
