It's good to see small parks getting these big woodies.

I'm not very impressed. It still has a "corporate" feel to it. It dosen't beat individual sites like the CF ones.

You realize more than half of American parks are Seasonal don't you? And just because you looks at pictures of parks during rain storms dosen't mean it has a "depressed" atmosphere. I agree with that. There dosen't seem to be that many year long water parks as there are seasonal ones. I live close to 6 waterparks here in Ohio.

I HATE HATE HATE the way RCT3 models Vekoma trains! I love the look of the ride but the trains are soooo ugly(it's not your fault...it's Frontiers). Actually every coaster train on the whole damn game is ugly.

Why does it seems like people near Eurpoean parks have a huge problem with noise where as people near US parks don't care as much(Not saying they don't care at all). Kennywood has houses right down the street and Phantoms Revenge has one of the loudest lifts and Swing Shot has it's load air tanks yet no one trys to sue them.

That would be the stupid thing to do. Imagine if one of them got hurt and filed a lawsuit. It seems like the courts take the guest's side most of them time.

We're not that mad. That means two less coasters to worry about. The ones we do have are getting some much needed TLC like Headspin getting repainted to a 50's theme, Villian being refurbished, and Thunderhawk getting on-ride videos. Also you are right, out of all of the SLC's I ridden, Thunderhawk is the smoothest.

Really? When it debuted at SFO 6 years ago it was a hit and had 3 hour lines for the whole first year. Plus it will debute as the East Coasts fastest inverted coaster.

^ Exactly. I don't think the Middle East could support a new park right now. The last thing we need is to hear on the news that a suicide bomber killed himself and 50 bystanders at a Middle Eastern theme park. Take a look at US parks compared to Middle Eastern parks. US parks have a HUGE saftey standards. From what jmc247 stated earlier, it seems like you should really sign a death certificate before you ride anything over there. With the US on hand in building a park over there, they are insured US type saftey.

I'm, not surprised. This winter has been a weird one. I mean, two days ago we were in the 70's and Today, were in the 20's and it's been snowing all day.

Actually, SFGA and SFFT seem to be the best run parks and would benfit them the most. SFKK? Yea right. Also, it seems really high price wise. $199 per person? You'd be spending almost $1000 bucks for you, your wife, and two kids.

You really need to strain away from building station platforms on the ground. You should build them in the air from anywhere to 5ft to 30ft, depending on the coaster and it's size. Also, i'm not sure that I like the the que for the wooden coaster as there is no railings and peeps could fall and die!

Steel Venom is starting to come down. www.geaugalaketoday.com has an update on it. Also, we found out that Head Spin will recieve new colors! It will be painted a "tropical coral with matching accent colors."(Direct Quote from park itself). It will probably match the new sign: . This will really liven up the 50's Area(as it needed new colors for almost a decade) and will look nice from the parking lot.
