Watch 'em close it again because it's "too cold". Nah, they'll claim that it's time for the ride's annual maintenance. Annual maintenance is a stupid excuse. Except for at Nickelodeon Universe. They post their ride maintenance schedule for the year on their website, which shows they don't just use "annual maintenance" as an excuse.

Best Ride and Coaster Names
Woodie Warrior replied to Thelegendarymatthew's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It took me fifteen seconds to find this existing thread using the words "ride names" in my search. We appreciate your eagerness, but please try searching more thoroughly before starting a new thread. I'm sorry. I will try to be more thorough in my search next time, I just used the wrong key words to attempt and find the thread. And I did rush to see if a thread had been made already, so I should've searched for a few more minutes before making my thread. I'll make sure to use different words and synonyms next time. -
I do not think this will lead to the end of all Sea World parks, but I agree this will probably have a lasting effect on Sea World. People have been talking about animals in captivity forever, and Blackfish has encouraged them to become louder and more outspoken about it. People seem to put animals ahead of humans these days. I mean, human rights are being violated all over the world, yet all people care about is stirring up rumors about Sea World. They refuse to actually see proof that Sea World are the "good guys" in this situation.

My top two are Raging Bull and Manta. I like Raging Bull because it sounds like a phrase you'd say in place of a bad word, such as "Who in the raging bull took my burger?!" I like Manta because it suits the ride perfectly. And the themeing is top notch. -

I think that thing came from Celebration City when it closed. -
This year Looney Tunes show was relocated there because the outdoor stage was too hot for the performers. It was the first time in awhile the Empire had been used during the regular season. For the past few years during Fright Fest the theater has been used for the hypnotist show. Do you just enter from the sides and not the front? Also what is the coliseum building? The two entrances to the Empire are on the left and right sides of the front side of the building. Their are two doors used for exits on the sides. I don't know what the Coliseum is..

Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom by far. Dudley Do-Right was alright but I think it is highly overrated. I may be bitter about it though since it broke down twice as we were on it. -

The photo captions make this trip report even more enjoyable to read. -
1. I am really excited for the new Moon Cars track. The current one is a 30 second journey. It'd be cool to have the new track sort of similar to Holiday World's. 2. The carousel would look grand in the plaza. But isn't the garden area on a hill? How much flat space is there for the carousel? 3. I don't like the idea of an open-air bumper cars ride. Why would a roof be too expensive? 4. A kiddie coaster would be a nice addition. As long as it doesn't have a height maximum. I'd love to see this be a dragon-themed attraction. It would fit the theme of the area. 5. I still don't see why they are wanting to replace Scooby-Doo. I mean, sure the show isn't as popular as it was back in the day, but his relevance hasn't really gone down since 2002 when the ride was built. 6-7. Any family flats would be great additions to the park. Here is my thinking: 2015 is all of the additions/refurbishments listed above minus the new dark ride 2016 is a big attraction for the park's 45th anniversary 2017 is the new dark ride

Burgers are by far the better option. Especially on a pretzel bun.

TPR is my favorite website, period. I just want to thank Robb and Elissa for being awesome and posting trip reports, filming awesome POV's, and making this website and forum the best one out there. One day I will go on a TPR tour (it's on my bucket list!), and I can't wait until that day arrives. Thanks so much! -

How long is the wait list for New Hotness? Edit: Just realized I already have something going on that week. Hopefully a trip in 2015 will work out. -
Earlier in the thread somebody wrote that Time Machine was being sold for 9 million dollars. I don't know if that cost includes deconstruction costs, but with transportation and refurbishment fees the coaster would end up costing 11-12 million dollars total, wouldn't it? I doubt it would cost that much more to get a new and better B&M than to buy the used Time Machine ride.

I think the reason more parks didn't go for an Intamin Wing Rider is because they are shorter and more expensive. Furious Baco cost the park around 15 million euros (or 20 million US dollars). I think that could've had to do with the park's elaborate theming for the ride, but maybe the roller coaster just costs that much by itself. Furious Baco looks awesome, though.

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Yes, I liked it better than Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.
