  1. It's almost like the people who write for Jeopardy! do their research.
  2. I'm thinking 2019 is the year for something big. This Forbidden Frontier sounds really cool.
  3. I see you left out the part about how Mystery Mine is the best ride at Dollywood, but otherwise great report.
  4. Wow, that's really huge! That video helps to get a scale of the project.
  5. Hey, if he throws it in a savings account now, he'll have enough in interest to afford to eat at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
  6. That event looks spectacular as always. Love that last photo especially.
  7. Some great pictures of Lake Winnie. I loved that park when we went last year. Very underrated.
  8. I've never seen SFStL shut down a coaster for being too cold. I've been on American Thunder when it barely made it to the brakes, but then they loaded it up again and sent it around. Holiday in the Parks motto is "If it doesn't valley, it's not too cold."
  9. Looks great! Glad to see Six Flags keeps improving this event.
  10. Based on this, I don't think Disneyland is the park for you. Have you considered Magic Mountain?
  11. Oh nice. I got to see them open for Depeche Mode once. Didn't realize at the time that they'd be the main act as Dave Gahan was relapsing hard backstage and in no condition to perform, so it turned into a Martin Gore solo concert. Disaster. But hey, Scissor Sisters were good and I got to hear some rare Gore solo stuff live.
  12. Portillo's is amazing. I get it every time I'm in Chicago. There's also one very close to Knott's Berry Farm, and there's one in Tampa not too far from Busch Gardens.
  13. Oh, c'mon! This isn't a Universal attraction! Hahaha. Fair.
  14. Hmm, that's really cool. Looks like they'd be timing the rotation so you see a screen or animatronic or something?
  15. Yeah the one in Deadpool 2 was very cool. Like all artists, he's gone bit he's not gone.
  16. Medicine-Move Along Down the Road [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  17. Fixed that for you. Terror Twister II is the best teacups name ever. Just Googled that, and that is amazing. Love it. I've only ever been to SFGAm in the summer, and also one visit in the winter in 7 degree weather for Goliath construction tour. From what it looks like, though, they're doing a good job with their special events in the fall/winter.
  18. YES!!!! So glad they're not removing their rapids ride, and bringing new animatronics too? This is a must ride next year.
  19. This was my first thought. It just screams Wildwood. When I think about this place, the first thing that comes to mind is WATCHTHETRAMCARPLEASE! This coaster is perfect.
  20. Looks like you're having fun! Love that Pong cabinet, would like to see it show up at our local retro arcade.
  21. Yeah man...I guess they're going all in on the football thing, but I rolled my eyes at those football shaped seats.... But hey that POV animation looks great, and when I get back to Pennsylvania I'm gonna want to ride this anyway.
  22. Well, I for one love the idea of RMC'ing El Diablo.
  23. I got a high-end steakhouse, Red Robin, and Taco Bell in mine. Ooo, the plot thickens! Now I'm curious as to what other options there are and if it's based on what park you picked or what? The most hilarious one I got, and mind you, I chose Six Flags St. Louis which is closest to me, was Ritz Carlton. I'd like to meet the single person in the world who has a membership to Six Flags St. Louis and also frequents Ritz Carlton hotels.
  24. We had our first snow last night! 32°F for a high today, so we'll keep the flakes on the ground for a little while.
