Good choice. Honestly I don't remember what they played at my high school dances. I graduated in 2001, so probably 'NSYNC or Britney Spears or something equally forgettable. I was listening to Radiohead's Kid A. "Everything in Its Right Place," "How to Disappear Completely," "Idioteque"...those were my jams. Yeah, I was kinda neurotic even then.

Awesome! I agree on Melt, Fast Lane Plus, and all the...er...wildlife encounters. Don't know what's up with Lake Erie this year, but the bugs are outrageous. Of course, that made the spiders in Steel Vengeance's queue quite happy, but most of the humans in that queue didn't take that as an improvement.

As a Cardinals fan, I absolutely approve of hating the Dodgers and forgetting the Giants exist.

I've never been to Kings Island when it didn't threaten rain. Gotta love Midwest weather. And theme park bars.

What a Six Flags day! You got a lot of good photos too. Mr. Freeze is really impressive, and you gotta love that air conditioned queue. On a hot muggy day, once you get in that building, you don't mind that wait one bit.

I agree, I've been happy with the new additions from 2014 to 2017, they've really been cleaning up the place. This year was a mixed bag; the removal of beer jail is great, but the new slide never working right was a source of frustration. Hope they get it working next year.

Actually, they offered me EZPay, though I chose to pay in full since this is kind of a one time thing for me, going to 2 SeaWorld parks next year. I live in southwest Missouri, so SWSA is the closest park in the chain to me. They probably have EZPay fenced geographically so that people who live closer to other SeaWorld parks can't get it, but I can confirm I am eligible even though I don't live in Texas.

I agree on the staffing issue, but let's not forget that the chemicals used to sanitize reusable dishes aren't great for the environment either. Now, they're not as bad as Styrofoam, but still, washing dishes isn't environmentally neutral. Honestly biodegradable paper plates are better.

Thanks for the shoutout! I totally agree with you on Jaguar! That ride is underrated. It's not at all intense, but it is fun. And I kinda love the faded colours on Xcelerator.

Oh it'll be busy, but not the rides. Tonight (and I know the park isn't open today) has a low of 43. People don't ride coasters at those temperatures but Outlaw Run can still run then. That's how it works during Christmas at the same temperatures so I would expect similar.

Isn't it an awesome park? Half their rides would headline most parks, and here they're all in one place.

Cool, well if we're going the fantasy route, let's replace Superman with Tower of Terror, River King with Big Thunder Mountain, and Justice League with Spiderman.
