Awesome man! Glad you had a Six Flags day. We were in Arlington a couple weeks ago and the new ballpark is well underway now. It looks remarkably like the old one. Someone clearly cashed in on some government connections and is gonna make bank on that. Freeze is awesome, and it's better in reverse, especially in the front row. Good call on taking first available seats on everything though, closures are really unexpected there.

I would not be OK with riding that. I've ridden it too many times to count when its a walk-on. I would not be OK with waiting a long time to ride Mean Streak unless I needed the credit. At Cedar Point, I try to buy to the FL+ to get my production on Steel Vengeance. Any more negativity or trying to poke holes in my logic guys? I guess I'm just a little surprised at how people don't try to factor in ratio of wait time to ride length. So I'm guessing you think the best theme park is Dorney, right?

Mack has been doing some amazing things recently, and I feel like a lot of enthusiasts have been overlooking them, just because in North America we've basically only seen their wild mouse coasters up to this point. Time Traveler is awesome, and I've heard good things about Copperhead Strike too, so it seems business may be picking up over here. I couldn't be happier.

Oh it was used in 2001 for sure. I remember waiting in a line that started by the Wildfire sign down by the lumber camp, then went through all those switchbacks to the right of the main path, went under American Plunge, used all the queue to the right of the main path after the Plunge, and finally entered the queue building. The bubble thing still worked, and the queue used the second floor above the gift shop. Everybody wanted to ride SDC's only looping coaster. The indoor queue can handle a line of over an hour, which for SDC is stupid long, so I've rarely seen it go out of the building at all. Even on those rare occasions, and it takes something like a 70 degree day during Christmas to do it, the line just curves around the side of the regular path and they still don't open the overflow queue. I doubt they'll ever use it again, but I'm not sure what else that space could be used for, so might as well leave it.

^ Agreed. I can't see how anyone can complain about the shed. Its absence of UV radiation and presence of kickin' tunes make it the best brake run ever. -

The benches out front? You're talking about a crazy insane coaster here. You get thrown around all over the place no matter what. The very middle is always the least crazy seat in any coaster, but if she's apprehensive, I can't see this going well. Twister is probably a better option, since it focuses on laterals and it has the individual lap bars you see on most wooden coasters these days. -

Other theme parks have fans. Knoebels has evangelists. -

^ It's way better than Starbucks, and though they do have silly sugary things, they also have good coffee that tastes good black. We used to have them in St. Louis, but they closed a while back. -
I saw that come up on my Google News, because Google knows me in a scary way. The intersection of theme parks and people being stupid is kinda my jam. Yeah, I mean I don't know that the ride didn't cause the back problems, but I am as much of an expert on back injuries as this guy is. I'd say the probability is that this falls under the warning not to ride if you have back problems.

Game: When was the last time you...

I always have a shopping list going. I use the OurGroceries app, even for lists that are not groceries. It's great. Lists are kinda my thing though...yeah, I'm a nerd. When was the last time you ate something fried?
