  1. Dallas has 10, and that's just in the city itself, there're more in the suburbs. Good for Orlando, though, they've really worked hard at making it a great city.
  2. Sea to Sky Swinger looks nice at least. I love the bragging, #12 best coaster and Vancouver's favourite amusement park. That's great.
  3. Yes. Guess I'll be getting some skip the line passes. lol. That's a good idea. We went Memorial Day weekend in 2017 and got the TimeSaver and had a great time. Yu basically get right on every ride, I don't think we waited more than 5 minutes for anything. Have fun!
  4. Oh, ok. Well, one less person in line ahead of me for whatever they're calling the Wonder Wheel now. Thanks!
  5. Are we all just not going to talk about the secret temple Hersheypark is building for us underneath Candymonium and that's why we're all excited? Or am I not supposed to mention it?
  6. Pittsburgh is obsessed with cheese fries. I have never experienced such a thing anywhere else. Always there's ketchup available, maybe some places have malt vinegar. But in Pittsburgh, if you don't offer cheese fries, it's anathema. This brings back good memories of Kennywood.
  7. Cool, it's a really fun way to make it look like the thought bubble thingies from the movie.
  8. Calico River looks fantastic. I love these rapids rides, and it's pretty awesome to see so much attention going to refurb this one. I enjoyed the previous version quite a lot, so really looking forward to trying out this version too.
  9. Six Flags is really conservative, and they tend to stick with proven strategies. That's why you see the same names over and over, even for different rides, because those names have proven to be successful at attracting new guests. If MaxxForce goes over well, they'll do it again in markets where it makes sense.

  11. Love it! I want to go on Candymonium and then straight over to Cupfusion.
  12. ^ She's got a right to be mad. That shouldn't have happened. They could have seen her sunglasses prior to dispatch. That is hilarious. You should have actually said that. I would have loved to see her reaction.
  13. I get that, and I get queasy at a lot of spinning rides too, but these giant spinning disc rides don't bother me at all. There is enough forward motion that it kind of cancels out the spinning. So maybe give it a chance.
  14. Agreed, and I say that as one who very much likes most of Knott's coasters. I think you and I are the only ones who actually like Pony Express. Space Mountain is the shiznit.
  15. I agree. Peanuts: A Dinosaurs Alive Celebration would be a perfect show to go in that location.
  16. Knott's is always the lion's share of their attendance. Year round operations, a location in the middle of a huge city, and a 10 minute drive from Disneyland. If it were NOT the bulk of Cedar Fair's attendance, they'd have screwed up royally.
  17. Oh that looks great! Yeah, everyone going to Pittsburgh this year should be stopping by this place. It's $10 and about an hour. Completely worth it. Buy a hat in the gift shop. They turn it into Tilt a Whirl paint jobs.
  18. If you're going all the way from Kansas to California and you're not going to Disneyland, you're doing it wrong. Knott's is a lot of fun though. Ghost Town is great, lots of fun shops. The cave in Camp Snoopy is cool. Don't miss any opportunity for boysenberry anything, especially the pie.
  19. I can't recall off hand, but you can see a long way. SFStL is up in the hills, and the Skyscreamer is at the highest part of the park. The Arch is right next to the river, so it's not only pretty close to the park, it's also well below it too.
