  1. I just rode it on Sunday and it was better than last time. I personally love it, to a point. The first half of the ride, riding an inside seat, is my all-time favorite ride. It is very unique and you just can't get the same feeling on any other ride. However, the second half can be either somewhat rough, or extremely rough, depending on the day. Also the wait times are ridiculous, and the workers, while working hard, just seem to be so slow! Because of those negatives, it just becomes a good ride. It's definitely one you have to ride at least once. Oh another annoying part is that you will be hearing X,X, X...2, 2, 2 the entire day.
  2. Found some recent developments. This one is the most recent, and talks about how there are about 50 companies bidding. Coney island Bidding This one is interesting, but is more of a "what it can become" scenario. Possible Rides
  3. One word, Knott's. We went during the slow season, and everything was either closed, or a delayed one train dispatch. They would wait for about five minutes to dispatch, after you were already buckled in, and even with people in line. Lot's of people yelling and threatening each other, including a few cast members. It was a few years ago.
  4. You lucked out with X2. My wife and I were there from about 10:30-12:30. We were about 4 groups back on X2 when it broke down. It was over an hour before they let people on, and it was only one train. But it did run pretty good today, not as jerky as my last visit in September. We also rode Terminator, and it also ran very well (like always).
  5. See's Candies Rum Nougats, and Baskin Robbin's Peanut Butter and Chocolate Ice Cream!!!
  6. I'm not the Mod Joey from above, but I just saw Asimo (Honda's Robot) at Innoventions in DLR, and I was very impressed. It' was pretty cool. I do like those rc cars that go about 50+.
  7. I do love cliff jumping. Best place I have found is Lake Powell in Utah. It has Grand Canyon style cliffs, and water goes down forever. It's perfect. Now for something completely off topic, tell Giovani his chocolate covered oreos were perfect!
  8. Hmmm, I wonder about the answers now!
  9. ^I thought this forum was PG-13? I have no clue what that is, maybe a pool float on the lane lines (I know that is a really really horrible guess).
  10. I know Giovanni loves them! I'll have to give them a listen, but the fact that they were even remotely compared to High School Musical gives them massive negative starting points.
  11. "Una Sonrisa es su alfombra personal de bienvenida" A smile is your personal welcome mat. How touching!
  12. A Boy and His Blob. It really is an incredible game. I think I am a little over halfway. Everyone needs to buy it!!!!
  13. I would definitely be one of those idiot adults who would buy a bunch of their crap. That would be so cool if they came to one of the parks.
  14. Looks interesting. I will definitely try it out when it's released. I hope it actually gives out information. Disney pretty good at releasing information related items that contain no information.
  15. Awesome video! I can't wait for the DVD. Hey, maybe you could do it Build A Bear style. We could visit your apartment and burn our own disc, insert the cover in the DVD case, print the label on the DVD, and close it all up! Just like Build A Bear! It's too bad I never made it out to Astroworld. Thanks for the sneak preview!
  16. The drops just weren't steep enough, and the air time wasn't really there.
  17. I could see problems with parents who want to see their kids at all time, and parents running back and forth to attend to their kids. Could work though, but that's why it's only in test mode now.
  18. About three years ago I was trying to find information on japanese amusement parks for an upcoming trip. I searched online and found this awesome trip report which even included to travel information! It was absolutely perfect, and answered every single question I had! The information was incredibly useful, and I've been hooked since then. And then I found the store and had to get all the videos to see what I had been missing all these years.
  19. Stell Dragon 2000. It's weird. It has the makings of a great ride, but just doesn't get it quite right.
  20. Were going to try SFMM tomorrow as well. Luckily we decided to just skip it today. We would have arrived at 1, about an hour after they closed. We ate a Farrell's instead. It was just like I remembered.... I am getting old.
  21. I am definitely going to make a week out of this trip. WCB is an absolute must for us every year! I always purchase a video or two from the TPR store to get me excited about the start of coaster season!
  22. That's incredible. The most for me is 4, but that's at Disneyworld so it doesn't count at all. Wish I would've been on that trip!
  23. Normally I just go down for about three days, but I think this will make me change to a mini-week (maybe 5 days) vacation! Can't wait!
  24. Can't wait for WCB! It is hands down the best deal in the world, yes people, even with a Season Pass! (I feel bad for how many times you will have to explain the whole season pass thing to people.)
  25. ^Are you somehow implying that Six Flags dispatch is somehow less efficient than Disney's?
