  1. I also think SFDK would be best. They have good rides, and the animals are a great plus. As posted before, Great America is not so great anymore, with the exception of top gun/flight/deck. Gilroy is incredibly beautiful, but not so much fun for me. Santa Cruz is nostalgic, but definitely a carnival with a few more things thrown in. Just don't take the Ferry from Pier 39 to Vallejo. You have to take the city bus in Vallejo to get to SFDK, and that is highly NOT recommended.
  2. ^Waiting to be stimulated by the stimulus v Is wondering how everyone got the arrow to point down.
  3. Yes, although it's been a while. Have you even been to a TPR event and had it start hailing during lunch and there was no real cover around so you and everyone else had to just get hit over and over with hail and rain while we all just sat there like a bunch of inmates and shoveled our food, and then had some nice cold ice cream?
  4. USA - Live Here, Japan, Canada, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Bahamas, Mexico, Cayman Islands, (and just added!) Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, and the UK!
  5. Just finished an Ultimate Cookie Pecan Chewy that cost $2.49 and it was definitely worth it.
  6. Had a bunch when I worked at WDW, but the best was MC Hammer at Waterworld USA, Concord.
  7. Overall loudest, I would say Superman the Escape. You can tell when it is running from anywhere in the park. At the WCB we just listened for it to know when it was open. Of course other parks have similar situations, but when you think of all the other loud rides SFMM has(like Riddler, Goliath, Colossus, etc.) it is incredible that it still stands out as much as it does. However....., My pick for loudest ride is the shattering glass sound on Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom. That is the only ride where I actually cover my ears. It is not the "loudest" in that you can hear it anywhere outside of the ride, but the speaker is soooo close, it's pumped up so loud, and it is the most ear splitting screaming screaching sound I have ever heard. Even thinking about it makes me cringe.
  8. Wow, this event was incredible. Once again, the night ERT was the greatest. We rode most of the rides 2-4 times, and almost every single time we didn't even have to get off the ride. And at the very end we triple rode batman and riddler, and only saw people 2 out of the six times! Ditto to everything else that's been said. This was my second bash and it still amazes me how great this event is. The only downside is that I am so sore! We drove 8 1/2 hours on Saturday, rode coasters from 8:30-10 yesterday, and then drove another 8 1/2 hours today. I will try to sleep standing up but I don't think it will work. Rob, Elissa, and crew, you do an incredible job, and this is one of the highlights of my year. I have no clue how you do it, but just keep on doing it. I can't wait until I am able to go on a real TPR trip (This years timing won't work). Thanks to TPR and Ride World, and kudos to SFMM and the management team on a great park and event. Can't wait for next year! My only question is: What were the wristbands for? I never once had to show it, just wondering. Can't wait to see the pictures!
  9. Wow! Been out of town so this is late, but thank you so much for the best time. Robb, Elissa, and the Theme Park Review crew did an incredible job. I can't believe that it only cost $20! By far, the best deal ever. The wife and I had an incredible time. You guys sure know how to throw a great party. It was great to meet everyone and I can't wait for the next one! It was well worth a 10 hour drive at 3am! Thanks also to Jay Thomas, Neal Thurman, and Tim Burkhart! You guys are doing a great job! You have really turned things around, and really went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be back. Thanks again TPR for an incredible trip. Hopefully I'll be able to do a trip this year as well! Oh, have you ever thought of doing a Mousefest/Mouseadventure style event at MM? If anyone could pull it off it would be TPR. Thanks again!
  10. Didnt know where else to post this. I'm going to the TPR event but thought it would be fun to go to Knotts the day before on saturday. Will it be too busy at Knott's because of their Solace event, or will it be like a normal day? Sorry, didnt know who else to ask. Just want to know if everyone thinks Saturday at Knotts would be too busy, or if the event at Knotts won't affect the crowds.

    Which Park?

I have an extra day in Japan in a few weeks and was wondering which two parks you think would be better to visit. Either: La Qua and Yomiuriland OR Sea Parakise and Cosmoworld.
