  1. I'm up to about 75 'friends!' I may get to the 100 mark! Man, I really need a job!
  2. Glad there's a thread for this game! Jray2121. I'm loving the Christmas update. I had saved up over $1 million dollars, and just re-did almost my entire town. I 'stole' random ideas from other people, so thanks random people! I did finally use up all of my doughnuts though. There was a glitch during halloween where I got over 500 doughnuts, but now they are all gone.
  3. Awesome stuff! Can't wait to see more. It's really amazing what Disney is able to do.
  4. Packages sent out! Man I hate the post office! I filled out all my customs form ahead of time, but it only half helped. The cut out instructions were screwed up, they didn't mention I had to tape to tape one out of the four sections to the box, the lady behind the counter had never seen a customs form filled out online and at first said I couldn't use them, and she said a second page should have printed out for a receipt but it was on the page that was printed. What an incredibly screwed up 'business.' But, the presents are on their way! At least one of our secret santa's will figure out who sent it since our information had to be on the customs forms!
  5. I know they are safe, but this is Reno.
  6. Awesome! Congrats on doing looping coasters! Did you try Montezuma's Revenge yet?
  7. Lots of nice theming at this park. Can't wait to see more!
  8. I was hoping to get my stuff out today, but it took so long to wrap everything and fill out the customs forms online! I have two packages going to South America, two going to England, one to Australia, and two stateside! I'm going to send all of our Christmas stuff at one time so I don't have to keep going back to the post office. I filled out all the customs forms ahead of time, but knowing the post office, they will say those are the wrong ones and I have to fill out 20 copies of some random form. Tomorrow is the big shipping day though!
  9. Disney Signs Netflix Deal It'll be so nice to be able to watch some Disney classics on Netflix instead of having to use/find my DVDs, but 2016!? That seems a little too far off.
  10. I've really wanted to try those shoes. Maybe I'll pick up a pair after my next race. Currently, I use Spira for running, and like Sketchers for casual shoes. For business and nice attire, I love Kenneth Cole!
  11. No (Didn't know what it was and had to look it up) Do you like Cadbury Mini Eggs?
  12. Mt. Olympus has one of the worst park operations I have seen in the US. But the worst overall, from my experience, is Movieland Studios in Italy. The Tomb Raider Top Spin took 45 minutes to just do three cycles! That's right, 15 minute cycle time! The entire park had the most incredibly slow service I have ever seen. But it is a really good messed up park.
  13. At Disneyland, I really like the seating area in the back of Harbour Galley. Same clam chowder as NOS, but usually no line.
  14. I do like sky coasters and think they are pretty fun. However, I don't think they are worth a big extra cost. If it's $10 and under I would probably do it, but anything over that it just gets too expensive. I've never done it alone, so I don't know how much better or worse that is. There is one here in Reno, but i've been hesitant to try it. It is Reno after all, so I'm a little leery on their upkeep.
  15. Alright, I'm going to agree with you there. They were being stupid end of story. Just call it a lack of age thing (I'm pretty sure 40 trumps 18 in this case). I still believe that it was a horrific story though. Yeah it was awful, terrible, horrible, all of that, but once again stupidity rears its ugly head, and I agree with you about the age thing. I remember seeing that story on the news here, it was just, terrible. Eventhough they were complete idiots I would not wish that on anybody. I don't know, or want to, what would be worse, being involved in an accident like that or the Mindbender one. I wasn't there that day, but I did work at that park at the time. I was there the next day and had to drive the guard that was at the top of the slide to the park for de-briefings. It was definitely the kids fault. I also had to help clean up the scene when they finally released it. Very sad stuff. The parents went through a divorce, and ended up settling for a tiny amount because they didn't want to deal with each other. I think one of the most notable, at least in the theme park industry, would be the Space Flight accident that killed six people. It was in China, so it wasn't covered too long here, but a pretty major accident.
  16. Received all our stuff for our secret santa's today. They will go out tomorrow!
  17. They could be for more theming, and not necessarily for ride modifications, but we'll have to wait and see. I would personally love to see the coaster go through a massive Reese's Peanut Butter Cup!
  18. This is great news! Those resorts were stuck in 70's. I think this will really do a lot for them.
  19. It should be a really slow day, hopefully. I would definitely pick Montezuma's Revenge! It's pretty forceful, but there is only one loop, well two times, and it goes straight Silver Bullet would be my next choice. It's not as forceful, but it's lot longer, and has a lot more loops.
  20. That really does look amazing! Incredible job, can't wait to visit when it's done.
  21. ^Agree. Looks more colorful and Tron like, which I like, but it's lacking a lot of physical sets, which I also really like.
  22. That is a very impressive looking tube structure! Loving the colors, and the free tubes!!! Thanks for all of these awesome updates Shane!
  23. Haha! That's awesome!
  24. Just saw this on the Hershey Park website. Really smart idea! Hershey Park Advent Calendar
