  1. Praise be! It's working again! Finally! Edit: Well, almost. I still can't search and request friends!
  2. Anyone need a season pass? They have a special buy 4 and get a free upgrade to gold if you process your pass by Dec. 30. I would just need 3 more to do it!
  3. I'm about 50/50 going as well. Won't know for a day or two.
  4. Sorry for another post but I had to. I've been reading some of the comments on their Facebook page, and I had to post some. Someone definitely needs to learn to proofread. This is why they can get away with having terrible servers. Even with how terrible the servers are, people are still wanting to play. Most posts are people wanting free coins and doughnuts. Really though, unless people have actually bought something it is a free game.
  5. Still no access at all for me today. Just the long message that they are aware of the problem and are working in it. Im still getting all my alerts telling me things are finished, but i cant get into the game at all. Really annoying.
  6. It's been mentioned before, but you only get the coins once per type of house, not coins for each house. So it doesn't matter if you have 1 or 100 brown houses, you will only get 5 coins total every 24 hours.
  7. I'm sure I could find something to eat there. Looks like a great place. I'm glad you can still get top quality food, but without it being too formal.
  8. The best slum I have seen is one of my 'friends' put a fence around the entire brown house slum so it looks just like a concentration camp. Thanks for posting all of that Robb. Makes a lot more sense, and makes me not as bugged if I spend a little money in the future. I also wish there was a point where you would either 'buy' the ride, or get some sort of discount/premium status. I also wish there was a standard way to earn doughnuts. I used to get doughnuts randomly from cleaning up nuclear wast, but I haven't in a really long time. I had Sideshow Bob show up yesterday! I haven't seen him for months.
  9. Just saw this box set "Lightning Deal" on Amazon.com It's set to start at 3:59pm, pacific standard time tonight only, Dec. 11. It doesn't say how much of a discount it is until then, but I've seen some deals go as high as 75% off. Here is the information on it. Broadway in a Box: The Essential Broadway Musicals Collection - Audio CDs Disc 1: Annie (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 2: Anything Goes (1987 Lincoln Center Theater Cast) Disc 3: Cabaret (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 4: Camelot (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 5: Carousel (1965 Music Theater of Lincoln Center Cast) Disc 6: Chicago (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 7: A Chorus Line (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 8: Company (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 9: Fiddler on the Roof (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 10: Guys and Dolls (1992 Broadway Cast) Disc 11: Gypsy (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 12: Hair (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 13: Hello, Dolly! (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 14: How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 15: Into the Woods (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 16: The King & I (1964 Music Theater of Lincoln Center Cast) Disc 17: Man of La Mancha (2002 Broadway Cast) Disc 18: My Fair Lady (Original Broadway Cast) Disc 19: Oklahoma! (1979 Broadway Cast) Disc 20: Oliver! 10. Supposedly some guy has been reding through the code and found some possible updates with possible discounts. Like 25% bonus when buying doughnuts, or Santas Village and a Christmas tree for only 200 doughnuts. Some other people "verified" the information but this is the Internet, so it's most likely BS. I do think they are way too stingy with the doughnuts, but that's how they make their money. It's interesting to think you would pretty much have to pay more than a full PS3/XBox game to get all the premium stuff, but even those games now have additional premium content. I missed it, but during the Thanksgiving update people were able to get a ton of free doughnuts the day before the update came out. They would switch their clock forward to Australia time, then back to the current time. This would re-trigger the Mayan Halloween 30 doughnut bonus. Until your location time switched over to the next day you could do it as much as you wanted. So annoyed I missed it.
  11. I still can't search for friends, but everything else is working for me. For those that want to know what you have to do to trigger buildings and such, this is the best 'walkthrough' I've seen. It a walkthrough of the game, so there are 'spoilers' about what tasks you have to do and such, but it really helps if you get stuck. http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9043283.page
  12. In the past it's done it to me where the town disappears. It's always come back once I could log in, hoping for the best for KT! They gave us a bunch of doughnuts once for an outage like this, I hope they do it again!
  13. That's the thing, all my friends that have Android friends are non-stop bragging about how much better they are, how they have everything, etc. I agree that a lot of iPhone users are oblivious to features that have been around for a while with Android, Panoramic photos for example, but my Android friends are non-stop bringing it up. Maybe it's just my friends.
  14. I like Lake Winnie, and Quassy. For me to consider a park small, it needs to be pretty small.
  15. It's always good to give this thread a bump.
  16. I think TPR should throw in some deodorant in all future trip bags. As for the question of Vomit versus BO, I think Vomit is so much more worse.
  17. Amy and I love the Disney parks so we could easily spend all 4 days there. It really depends on you guys though. If you like Disney, then do all 4 there. Especially with cost being a factor, that may be the best option as adding a day or two to a Disney ticket is so much cheaper than adding another day at another chain. However, if you live near another Busch Gardens or Sea World park, you may splurge and get a season pass for their chains. I would definitely recommend more than one park a day. May does get busy, but it's nice to take a break and go to another park either way. Animal Kingdom and DHS are generally parks you visit just for a few hours, and they tend to close the earliest. You could hit those in the morning, then head to the other parks in the evening. As for Extra Magic Hours, it really depends. Sometimes they are super packed during EMH's, and sometimes they are dead. Will you be staying in a Disney Hotel? I tend to do them just because we paid for it, so we might as well use it. The morning ones are usually really good, as long as you get there before opening. During the morning EMH's, we would just stay for an additional 2-3 hours, and then go to another park. If you are staying off property (no EMH), than I would visit the park that just had EMH the previous night. I usually found it to be pretty dead in the morning at a park that just had EMH the night before. What time do you arrive the first day, and where are you flying from? Depending on the time change and length of flight, you might be able to do some park stuff, or just hang out at Downtown Disney.
  18. Cherry Coke Zero. Delicious.
  19. I love how this thread hasn't been updated in over a year! You'd think with how much Android fans love to prove how much better their phones are they would be posting a lot!
  20. jrayTPR, but I don't play that often.
  21. We always have a 72 hour kit is our cars. We have food, water, clothes, and a bunch of 'camping' stuff. Living near the mountains it's kind of important. During the winter we add a bunch of winter survival stuff as well. Just last week some guy died and his girlfriend survived when they went over the mountains and got stranded in a storm. At home we have a bunch of additional stuff just in case. After having gone through the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, I've always been a little more prepared than most.
  22. I already get confused between the Magic Kingdoms, this one will really screw me up. Can't wait for it to open though! The preliminary sketches look great.
  23. I was about 6 or 7, and my first coaster was Willard's Whizzer at CGA!
  24. Fixed dt Haha! That is totally true! I love it when they sell food throughout the lines. I love Dollywood and Silver Dollar CIty because they have skillets everywhere and I can grab one, or ten, and eat it while waiting.
  25. Maybe they adopted the super efficient maintenance schedule from Magic Mountain! That's too bad, but it could have been any number of things. We just have to hope it doesn't become a regular occurrence.
