  1. She should never go to Knoebels and ride Skooters Bumper Cars. If she got a fractured wrist from the bumper cars at Great America she would have been killed by the ones at Knoebels! Glad common sense prevailed, even in CA.
  2. The Twisty video and the Manhattan Express video are my favorite. I totally agree that the Robb 'commentary' makes the videos. If I didn't want his commentary, I could just turn off the sound! Problem solved. Plus, in other videos that don't have someone doing commentary the wind kills the sound and you can't hear anything anyways.
  3. Aftershock and Timber Terror at Silverwood. The entire park is in the middle of nowhere.
  4. ^^That's a really cool feature. Looks like it's really coming along great.
  5. 23/26 Highest I think I've ever gotten.
  6. Wacky Soapbox Racers at Knott's, and Big Dipper at Playland at the Beach.
  7. ^make sure you read through the thread. This was posted on page 2. I would rather have fewer downloads than support Android. I really do not want this thread to become posts about Android phones. We're not supporting it. There. Done. No more discussion is needed, so any further posts regarding Android will be deleted, and the poster will get a 24 hour ban from TPR. This thread is about our Roller Coaster Trivia App, and those people who have downloaded and played it. Please post if you've downloaded it! Thank you! --Robb
  8. Started watching Game of Thrones. Really liking it so far.
  9. ^ & ^^ That was some great reading!
  10. Thanks for the update. I like watching the progress on rides like this. Can't wait to see everything come together.
  11. Here are mine. Antartica Alaska Top of Mount Fuji Easter Island New Zealand Galapagos Trans-Atlantic Cruise Every state in the US
  12. That's what I'm scared of! Although, a lot of those American Idol rejects would be perfect for the part.
  13. We better not see Gollum the Musical! This is the same company that brought us The Creature from the Black Lagoon musical, so you never know!
  14. I'm hoping to get enough doughnuts for Santa's Village, and the last Funzo. Only 7 more days, it will be close. I totally agree with Elissa, I can't believe they actually did a good thing, and especially, that the servers didn't crash!
  15. I love it when you can see their faces like that. It's interesting to see all the different types of reactions.
  16. Can't believe it's only 9 days until I start the Dopey challenge! I'm on my taper, and I hate it. I know everyone says it's the way to go, and I'm definitely doing it, but it feels wrong to run so little miles before the race. I'm being good this time around and not pushing my training. I used to push every week to go faster and faster, and for the past two Goofy challenges I had to run them injured. So far there have been no injuries, and I honestly think I'll be able to improve my time because I haven't been pushing myself as hard as in the past. I've also been reading up on the trend of taking walking breaks throughout the race. I've heard that a lot of the elites are even doing it as well. I tried it out this time around and I really think it's been great. I've been walking for about 30 seconds at each water stop, and then run just a bit faster to make up for the stops. I took my old GPS data from previous races and put them all on a paper so I know when to start walking. My times are a lot better than when I ran without stopping, and I have a lot less pain and no injuries so far. Glad it's working for me! I do have a WDW race day transportation question though. I'm wondering how bad the traffic is getting to Epcot for the 5k, 1/2, and full. I've always stayed on property in the past so I just took the bus. This year I'm staying off-property, in the Dr. Phillips area and was wondering what everyone recommends. Should I leave at 2:30, park at Epcot and sleep for a few hours, or just leave around 4 and get there right before start? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Also, has anyone done the Pasta in the Park? I'm debating on that, but leaning towards no since one of the benfits is special Illuminations viewing. The show isn't until 9, and we have to be at the starting line exactly 8 hours later. If I stayed for the show, I'd end up getting about 4-5 hours of sleep. I'm also debating about the Runner's Retreat. I did it in the past and it wasn't absolutely worth it, but was better than standing out in the cold like cattle. Except a few years ago when it was about 26 degrees outside, then it would have been absolutely worth it! I do like the carpeted areas to lay down on, and the food after was nice. Also, I finally got around to printing my waiver and I'm Corral D for the 1/2 and the full. It's been about 3 years since I've done a full marathon so I was conservative on my finishing times. I should be in C next year, and possibly even B! I need to do a non-disney 1/2 sometime this year so I can try and break 2 hours for the half. I also just noticed the race starts at 5:30 am! I thought it usually started at 6! That sucks! Really excited for the race though!
  17. After getting SLH I was barely playing at all. I figured the coins would disappear like the candy, so I really haven't tried to get much. Looks like I will have to start up again!
  18. That's awesome news! Really glad to see Knott's doing this. Definitely one f my favorite rides.
  19. I rode Perilous Plunge once. The drop was pretty intense for a water ride, but I never rode it again because of the awful cycle times. I don't think I even took pictures of it. Every time I wanted to get pictures of it I would get too annoyed by how long the cycle times took.
  20. $1 million isn't the level. I'm at about 1.5 million right now. I know for me it was getting more high end slums. The brown houses are only good if your able to check them constantly. For example, If you check the purple house 4 times a day, you'll earn $300, but to do the same with the brown house you have to check it 50 times a day! I tend to like the blue houses the best because I can check them three times a day, and I won't waste/miss any time. You have to spend a bit, but after a little bit you'll be earning a ton of cash every day. The brown houses are great when your starting out, but later on the more expensive houses pay off better, I think. I also try to keep everyone on a similar schedule like mentioned before. When I had everyone doing different things I would forget about them, and lose a lot of time they could have been doing something else.
  21. Most likely the new Test Track at WDW!
  22. And then they would have to refurb it about 4 months after they finish it, and will have to send one of the legs to fix another desk at another park.
  23. ^^That's good news....and common sense. Water slides are usually included in that as well, but most times it's cheaper just to settle it out of court than to pay a ton for lawyers and drag it through the courts.
  24. Just saw Les Mis the other day and thought the same thing. I definitely thought he had the weakest voice, but he played the character well, and the entire movie was just so incredibly good that it more than made up for it. I honestly didn't think I'd like the movie as much as I did. It was one of those movies that everyone was way too positive about, so I figured it was either going to be amazing, or just so-so. I totally thought it was amazing. The movie really helped remind me of things I had forgotten. Really a great movie!
