Totally. I've tried Smurf's, Happy Park, and Jurassic Park, but this is the only one I've really liked, just because it's the Simpsons. Honestly, if it was any other game and was having this many issues I would have given up a long time ago. I still can't add any friends. People can request me, and I can accept, but it won't let me search and request anyone. It's been like this for about 3 days now. It's definitely not as bad as previous updates, like Elissa said. Amy couldn't play at all for over a week after the Thanksgiving update. It used to be a lot worse. If there was one little thing wrong, the entire game would crash. At least now you can still play sometimes, with some features not available (still able to play my town, but all my 'friends' aren't showing).

It's pretty tough to get XP until later. I would throw in a few of the longer timed houses as well, when you can. I forget which ones they are, but I like the 4 hour ones, and the eight hour ones as well. That way overnight you're not losing out on some time used to generate money and XP. Also, if you can get to 100 friends, that will give you over 2500 XP every day. Last, when you build stuff you are given XP as well. The best is to just build up the 'slums' but not only with brown houses, though they are the best if you can click every 5 minutes. Sometimes the houses are tied to activities as well. So just make sure you send people on their task as soon as they get them, and try to have everyone free at the same time every once in a while just in case. And sometimes the game just sucks and won't give you the next task no matter what you do. One time I had to wait 7 days for it gave me a new building, even thought I was 'technically' all done with the other stuff. Good luck! Edit: One other thing, try and get your Conform-O-Meter as high as possible. If you click on the stars a window should open up and show you where you are lacking. It's not huge, but it does help in the long run.

I don't have the Volcano Lair and all the decorating tasks disappeared when I finished the other houses. So i guess until you get all of the non-premium houses, it will stay there. Barney's Bowling Alley should generate after the Mapple store and some related tasks. Supposedly, it costs 200 coins. After that, the other items should start unlocking. You will definitely need as many coins as you can get. Santa's helper is said to cost 1500 coins! Game isn't working for me at all. Got a nice message that they are aware of it an trying to fix it. You would think that being the top grossing game overall that they would have enough money to get better servers.

^I was really hoping that the queue was going to get some work on it. It's just such a mess at times (like Space Mountain at Disneyland). The FastPass line is hit or miss. With the same wait times, I've saved only 5 minutes with a FP, and sometimes 30. Single rider and the handicap lines had to cross the main lines, and you could tell the cast members hated it. Oh well, at least the most important part, the ride itself, seems to have gotten a lot of great care! Can't wait to see it! Glad that all the fire effects are working, and the mist! I'd forgotten they even had the mist!

I'm glad they are expanding their port options out of Florida. Gives me even more reasons to do the Disney cruises. They did miss one thing when mentioning Falmouth, Jamaica shore excursions. They forgot about the chairlift of death through the spider den to the mountain coaster!

Remembering my last ride on Hades, I am actually a little scared about doing it again, but with a loop! I'll just make sure to give my health insurance information to all the local hospitals and Chiropractor's just in case!

I would agree with ET. Really advanced for it's time, especially given that it debuted over 20 years ago!

I agree that "aggressive" has a negative connotation, while "intense" has a more positive connotation. Ghostrider is extremely agressive, while El Toro is intense.

Do you have 99 friends? I believe that's the limit. I'm at the point now where if some of the other Springfields I have on my list don't have XMAS lights by tomorrow night, I'll replace them with others. Was able to collect 150 Santa Coins pretty easily today with all the friends that had XMAS lights so far! --Robb "Thanks neighbors!" Alvey I'm only at 81 right now. I was a little higher, but I deleted anyone who hadn't logged in for over 2 weeks. I'll also start deleting people who don't have Christmas lights. When I try to add someone, the "Results Loading" screen just keeps going and going. Every once in a while, It'll work, but it literally takes about 2-3 minutes of waiting. Gotta love the EA servers!

I got excited seeing this thread bumped as well. I was really hoping it was back. Such a fun game, I hope they bring it back sometime.

Oh, one other thing to help save time when visiting friends. You don't have to manually click on all the individual money, XP and coins after you click on their buildings. Once the items pop out of the house/building then you can exit and it will automatically collect all of the coins/Money/XP, and also collect the final XP bonus for clicking on three things. If you do a building with spray paint or a mop, you have to wait for the 1 second animation to finish and for the stuff to pop out before you leave or it won't register it. This will save you a ton of time when you have a large amount of friends. You can just visit, click three buildings real quick, and leave without having to click all the goodies or the final thank you XP.

I was excited about that as well, but it ended up only giving 5 coins per house type, not the number of houses. So even though I have about 8 brown houses, I only got 5 coins total. Too bad. Looks like visiting friends is going to be the way to do it. One little tip, when visiting your friends sometimes they don't have any decorated houses available yet. Usually, the Simpsons house is the only one. You can just click on it, then leave and come back every 45 seconds and it will regenerate so you can get you 3 coins from each player, even the ones without that many decorations. I'm going to just use my coins to decorate the houses first, to build up my coin 'return' in the future. the Mapple store is available, but it costs 150 and isn't a limited time option so I'll wait until I get all the decorations up first.

Totally agree! The whole video I was waiting to hear it start up. Miss those days as a kid.
