^Iron Horse would give CP one more hybrid (which they already have) so I would guess a genuine wood coaster. Now, if they would build it from scratch or not is a different deal. I honestly don't care that much as existing layouts on the coasters they modified didn't seem to restrict or limit the awesomeness of their rides.

^I thought that too. The track looks like it's the same as leviathan's first drop (track/spine combo). So, actually that detail would lead me to believe it might be authentic, but who knows. -

Nice pictures. I thought Mean Streak was bad because it combined some nasty rough spots with a rather boring ride, overall. It wasn't the most painful ride, but still weak (in my opinion).

^I initially thought they would stay facing down all the way (including the braking). Sure, the brakes would have to be a bit less powerful and start a little earlier than usual due to the riders' position, but there are plenty of lying coasters that pull some Gs with people sitting like that. Probably they thought it would be more comfortable if the seats returned to a normal position before the real brakes kick in, that's why they use those "pre-brakes": so that a small force generated by them is enough to pull the seats out. I can't say how it rides as haven't been on it but probably you will only get "true" free-fall sensation before any brakes start. -
Went to a kaiser chiefs concert a few weeks ago. It was nice, but too short. I guess the rain didn't help either, I was soaked.

Not sure about the giant drop (KI and KD) but I have also heard that the 1st and 2nd gen (which are the only ones I've tried) are more forceful/better free-fall sensation than the new ones. -
I like the smell of B&Ms...

Looks nice! I still maintain that I would rather have the cars facing down all the way (including the braking) to get rid of those pre-brakes. But it still looks like a fun ride. -
^Wasn't that always there?

Yeah me too No, seriously, that's the same color.

Most Overrated coaster?
rcjp replied to BlackWidow's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Interesting that you say this. Perhaps that's true among the GP. However, with the enthusiasts, I have always heard people saying how much better TTD is than KK: In fact, so much that (based on my experience on both of those rides) I would say KK is underrated and TTD overrated as I actually do slightly prefer the former while most enthusiasts seem to like TTD a lot more. -

You do know its more than a intamin vs. B&M invisible war that can be the conclusion why el toro "seems" more popular to you... For one...the height requirement for el toro is 48 while batman is 54. More people are ABLE to ride el toro. Not to mention there is a large amount of the park goers who wont ride looping coasters... Also, B&Ms are capacity monsters for the most part. Their lines are testaments to efficiency, not necessarily popularity. Furthermore, I could just as easily say Dominator at KD gets longer lines than I-305, so the point is moot anyway. And we mustn't forget that Batman is 13 years older than el toro. -
