  1. This was already discussed somewhere, I think (maybe the B&M plant thread) and I really don't know as with these brake run/pre-lift turns either B&M used the normal track or this but only when the turn is very small (like Oziris' turn after the station)
  2. Although not a big fan, wing coasters would probably be the most suitable to go with the batman theme.
  3. 1. If you've never been on an SLC before..... I envy you. 2. I think he/she/it is referring to Cedar Fair's Windseeker rides. Lol I actually haven't ridden any SLC. And I must say I am really curious and would like to have a go.
  4. ^It does provide air. More than any other hill on that ride.
  5. Einstein
  6. ^What if it is a record like: World's Worst Capacity!
  7. Has anyone watched ?
  8. ^I haven't ridden it so I can't tell how much I like it, but I suppose that may be true, that those days will never return... It's just that it's hard for me to comprehend how a new company as B&M was back then built such kick-ass ride and today, with the reputation and experience they have, they don't seem to do it any more.
  9. I know shambhala's speed-hill officially provides -0.5 Gs (and while it was more better than its other hills, it was no big deal). Does anyone know if this is the most for any B&M?
  10. And let's just be clear about something, while Banshee was MUCH better than probably 95% of the B&Ms from 2002 - 2013, it still wasn't the "old school" B&M days of being crazy forceful. I just rode Fire & Ice the other day, and man, they do not make them like that any more! WOW! What a pair of rides!!! This is what I "feared". It does look like an improvement over their new rides *cough*gatekeeper*cough* and it did get great reviews. Still, looking at a few POVs and comparing it to others like BTR clones which I have tired, it's just not the same. It's good to see B&M can at least pull a relatively nice and forceful layout, but I'm still waiting for a ride which will be as good/intense as their old-school ones.
  11. ^^^I haven't ridden it. But what I mean is a hill designed to provide ejector air for all riders, and not one hill which almost seems to do it by accident to the back of the train.
  12. I'm still waiting for that day. Just don't see it coming soon.
  13. ^I agree. And even thought it may not be a great coaster, it's still a relatively new B&M.
  14. +1. Think it's the best of all the rumored names for this project. I also do. I think Fury alone wouldn't look so impressive, but that's just me.
  15. After taking a closer look, I quite like the colour scheme.

  17. ^Oh. And I thought Zamperla had got it right.... (given the first comments I heard)
  18. The 4D Spin only costs 7 million. The RMC conversions are probably 10 million or less. All three coasters added together probably still won't cost as much as what Carowinds is spending on one coaster. We'll probably never see Six Flags spend more than $20 million on one park again. Six Flags is cheap. When was the last time they did? Kingda Ka? Naturally you can still have great coasters under 20 million but that does limit options a bit.
  19. Nice photos! Yeah, this is not really new
  20. ^Interesting. I actually imagined they would be a step forward from intamin's skyrush restrains with the swivelling feature. But yes, the belts do look like they were installed in a rush.
  21. ^Oh, that's true. Nice catch.
  22. ^I'm like you. Only tried Mean Streak
