  1. I get what you mean. It would be nice to use this spot for an actual coaster.
  2. Please don't! Screamin' Eagle is much better than Boss, plus the layout of Boss will allow something truly insane. I would imagine a furius baco - style heartline where the straight bit after the first drop is
  3. Nice! And having heard that this is an improvement over the intamin model makes it sound even better!
  4. Great. Looks awesome! (it's also a little easier for me to reach than SFMM) This applies to both this and Colossus: I'm happy that six flags didn't go for 100 inversions and managed to keep a nice amount of other things. They look like they are just in the right stop and go well with other twisty bits.
  5. Wow 18 airtime moments! And for the most important thing: the track isn't red/orange!!
  6. Cold. Would you rather have a finger removed and be protected from every single disease in the world until you die or not?
  7. ^I just hope that (if/once they do it) it won't have two across seating as I think that looks awful on inverts! (I guess it's not crucial, though)
  8. I've just remembered this as I'll be riding it in a few days: Coaster Express!! Seriously, not just a bit of retracing. The options are these: let RMC make a hybrid out of it; let RMC make a topper track woodie out of it; or this P.S. I actually haven't ridden it in a while but I'll do it just to make sure it is still my least favourite coaster.
  9. The picture attached to it is just a random picture of the sky and some clouds. The locals are thinkin SkyScreamer.... Well, that appears to be it.
  10. I don't know about that. But now that you mentioned the drive tire launch I remembered (even though it might be a coincidence) it was just after that that B&M started using pairs of drive tires from their rides in a horizontal position instead of the vertical ones that intamin (for example) still uses. Not that it's very important, more of a curiosity.
  11. Nice videos! It's cool to see thunderhead's track swaying was the train goes by.
  12. ^Even in the front? Wow, I must have been really lucky. Honestly (and please don't kill me), taking into account that I haven't ridden any of the "top woodies" (el toro, RMCs, voyage,...) based on that one ride that I got I would rank it just as high as lightning racer (which is the wooden coaster I've ridden with the best position in the MH poll). It was just a fun ride (despite the odd seating).
  13. ^Sure, greying out on itself is not a good thing but it does demonstrate (a bit) how forceful a ride is. I said a bit because I don't consider nitro a forceful coaster and it's one of the only two that have ever made me grey out. Me too. Watching the offride animated POV I noticed how "unbanked" the turn is. As B&M doesn't do laterals, that will mean it's not forceful. Certainly not like this:
  14. I've been thinking if the next floorless/sitting B&M coaster will feature these new restraints given that they were already applied to inverts. I also wonder if the two dive machines for Europe next year will have them.
  15. ^I'm saying this based on what I've heard as the only new B&M I've been on with a rattle was GK. Shambhala was actually the smoothest coaster I've ridden and it's new. But it amazes me how some of their 20+ year old rides are still great. (in terms of smoothness)
  16. ^I'd be okay with a sit down train. I think they're good enough.
  17. Yeah, that's weird. Even though not all of their new coasters are rattly you have to remember that around 20 years ago none of their coasters (except maybe the standups) were. Some are actually smoother now (BTR at SFGAdv, for instance) than some of their new ones (Gatekeeper). I wonder what is going on.
  18. At least it's better than just steel or iron cyclone. Sounds nice, actually.
  19. Disgusting
  20. Magic Springs
  21. ^It'll probably be the first one
