  2. ^Yeah I'm not sure but there is something (while watching POVs, for instance) that tells you that they are either a Vekoma or an Arrow. I get the impression that arrows have fewer of those joints connecting the rails to the tubular centre but I'm not entirely sure.
  3. Wow! That will be steeper than I thought! These RMC are all looking great. Can't wait to see more!
  4. Around 3000 euros (4100 $) on this year's trip to the US (for me and my dad).
  5. Don't feel bad about that. I bet every coaster in my country has the equivalent of the word "coaster" somewhere in its name. Not only that, there isn't even a single inversion in the entire country.

  9. Flat ride: Giant frisbee wheel or a drop tower Roller coaster: I have never been on any megalite but, from what I've heard it wouldn't be a bad idea. Out of the ones I've ridden, I would say batman clone.
  10. ^I actually do really like the concept, the problem is that all standups I've ridden weren't particularly smooth. I would definitely like to see a park purchasing one in the future as I'm sure that companies like B&M would be capable of building a smooth ride.
  11. Turn Leviathan's brake run into a MCBR and add something after it, like a goliath (SFOG)-style helix and some small airtime hills like you see on nitro before the end. I'm not sure but from a couple of videos and photos Dragon Fire's lift hill seems smaller then Leviathan's brake run, which is ridiculous.
  12. Yeah, you've guessed it: Skyrush. Honestly, I think that if they could fit an entire coaster in a rather tight area they had to be able to fit some stairs on the right side of the station (which is all it needed).
  13. Not having a major theme park in your country at all. What's worse than what I just said.

  15. The best airtime seat obviously depends on the coaster for several reasons. In theory, in a parabolic airtime hill the amount of air should be exactly the same both in the front and back (the train's extremities) the difference being that the front gets more of it initially while the back has more negatives on the way down. This is why during drops (like El toro's) the back has the most airtime. The front, on the other hand, will have more air than the back while climbing towards a brake run ,for example. When I rode shambhala I noticed that, closer to the front, I would get some floater air before entering the MCRB while in the back I got nothing. This is why magnum may be more painful in the front because, while the back progressively gets more intense air right until it's peak (before the hill ends) the front peaks right when the hill starts which causes that pop of air that throws you into the lap bars. So a coaster can be designed to deliver a lot more air in the back than in the front or the other way round. For example, kingda Ka (although not much) offers a bit more in the first cars because the airtime the back should get after cresting the top hat is neutralized by the trim.
  16. ^But I do think Talon is still a reasonably forceful ride. The helix after the immelmann and, most of all, the turn after the corkscrew are pretty intense.
  17. ^^I've never been on any "asian" B&M but it does make sense because they wouldn't just stop building forceful rides for no reason.
  18. The new lsm intamin at Vialand: Nefeskesen sounds pretty cool (even though I have no idea whatsoever how to pronounce it) and apparently it means Breath Taker which is also pretty sweet.
  19. That's interesting, I didn't know how they worked. I noticed the wheels have different thickness, are they used simultaneously?
  20. ^How are usually el locos in terms of comfort? I've never ridden one.
  21. ^I think it really is a matter of where the lapbars meet your legs which, in this case, is further away from your waist than desirable and that's what makes it painful. Steel Force's restraints have a similar shape but hold you in a better place (closer to your waist) and there is no pain involved. So if they had Morgan like restraints (which are not so different) I think it would be a massive improvement.
  22. Have they been working on the station with snow? If so, very impressive!
