  1. Now I doubt construction will be moving fast, if at all.
  2. That's a fantastic idea! How did that never occur to me???
  3. I think that's the exact argument that some are using to say it is kind of cheating, am I wrong? I think it's not that much the fact that it is attached to a tower but the lack of a drop that is nearly as tall as the ride itself. I'm not saying it is invalid or anything (I also feel a bit that way) but that is THE reason why many people would be more exited if it actually featured a 500 foot drop. Still a great concept, no doubt about that, but usually we like to see the height record coming together with the drop record too.
  4. ^Looking at the webcam there doesn't seem to be much progress. As to the station I don't know but it looks like it is pretty much the same.
  5. ^I was also thinking about that. You might be a coaster nerd if you look at any sort of terrain elevation and think: Well, I could fit a nice terrain coaster here.
  6. Nice pictures. Only if all fairs were like this...
  7. That looked like a pretty messed up ride. There was definitely a lot of smorking to those bends (whatever that means)
  8. ^Well... yeah. What can I say?
  9. I get it that many people get exited after riding a certain coaster which may lead them to say it is the best ever. I remember people saying that after riding Millennium Force (which, for me isn't even the best ride in the park) but that's ok. Now, saying that about Manhattan Express.... come on!
  10. ^Has it always had them or are they new?
  11. ^And, as far as I know, it was the launched coasters that gave them the most problems, right? At least I don't remember them having issues with the el loco models which this ride seems to follow.
  12. Looks really nice. I also found it interesting that they're using six cars only which don't look that odd because the cars have a longer gap between them. Hope this will move faster through the course than other wing coasters 'cause that, combined with the layout itself, would make it a pretty good ride. Looking forward to seeing more from this!
  13. I have to say both Ninja and FD seem a lot better than Iron Dragon which is the only suspended coaster I've been on. It was literally dragging itself rather slowly through the course when I rode it. Having said that, FD looks a bit faster and more intense than Ninja to me, at least from the videos I've seen.
  14. Gemini
  15. Cedar Point
  16. Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
  17. Giant Frisbee
  18. ^And the fact that their coasters gradually lost their forcefulness kind of means that the "we build what we like" thing is not so simple. If it were like that, why would they have changed the way they design their rides (from intense and awesome to forceless and family friendly)? That was probably due to park's requests so it's obviously not just "we build what we like".
  19. Wind of change - Scorpions
  20. Europa Park
  21. Those KumbaK SLC trains do look really comfy even thought they also look pretty weird. No headbanging!
