Coaster Curt

Kings Island in my opinion really needs to let the Brady Bunch thing stay in the past, it has been 40 years since that recorded the Brady Bunch at the Island.

So it seems like we should hit this ride a couple times.

Will be at Cedar Point on May 16th for a ride on this monster, can hardly wait!!!

Flight of Fear, is this something we should ride when at KI or avoid?

So Dueling Dragons doesn't duel anymore? Does it still run two trains or what is the story behind that?

I will be riding Beast for the first time next month and am a bit nervous the the second lift chain will wreck the whole thing for me, unless after the second lift it is like a second coaster, seems to be long enough. I like some of the replies, there are a couple things mentioned that I hadn't thought of before.

I am curious what causes the biggest disruption in your flow when riding a coaster? For me personally it is hitting a second lift chain, it is like having a great ride hitting the half way point and up the chain you go again. Another one is long stretches of nothing similar to Ride of Steel that Rob posted a video of the other day, just seems like it could have had even a small hill to add a little action. What does it for you, what makes you think......."Wow I was having such a great ride then ........ happened". Sorry if this needs to be in a different location.

^ We are going to be there that Thursday and Friday so the 16th and 17th.

You going with a group or by yourself? We have three in our group and are kind of looking for a 4th to round things out, plus a 4th to get the Fast Lane Plus down another 5 bucks.

They could put a full sized Windseeker at VF, it just has to be moved to one end of the park or the other, that would get it out of the flight path of the airport.

I would really consider paying 5 bucks just to see that monstrosity, but then again it is so big you can probably see from almost anywhere in the park.

Booked the hotels today for a day at Kings Island and 2 days at Cedar Point, first week CP is open, I can hardly wait. Friday May 17th, Fast Lane Plus all day long

ROS certainly has a different layout, but man does it haul ass. I would really like to ride that one day.

There have been a few times, I think the one at Cedar Point has gotten stuck a couple, needless to say I am not even taking the slightest chance of getting stuck on top when visiting this year.

VF did a great job with Camp Snoopy, much needed and as stated the numbers of families in the park last year was way up from even the year before. They added pavers all around and planted a ton of trees, so in 15 years it will be a nice cool place to walk through. I am just hoping that in 2014 VF gets some real love and ends up with a nice new coaster or two, but not getting my hopes up. A redesign of the flow in the park would be a very good thing, it is kind of an out and back layout that can get bogged down in the middle if it is busy.

Would love to see Time Machine end up at ValleyFair, so need some sort of invert.

If I am not mistaken the price for the first 4 Windseekers was 5 million and the last 2 were something like 6 million, still they will be around. I am not a huge fan of Windseeker and this year visiting Kings Island and Cedar Point, I will not be riding Windseeker just because I have no interest in getting stuck at the top for a couple hours.

I am not much for themes on rides but Mamba sure looked good with it. Colossus looks like an eventual must ride for me, man I need to get to more parks.

King's Island does have about the same attendance as Cedar Point. Why would Knott's surprise you?

Man I can barely wait till that first week of May when I get to ride Gatekeeper.
