  1. That Huracan thing looks like something I will never ride, can't handle that much spinning.
  2. I am expecting the roll off the top of Gatekeeper is going to be one of those moments for me.
  3. It is so big it is ugly. I want to look out the hotel window and see beach and water not some massive monstrosity.
  4. Will have, Gatekeeper already has more people in line that Disaster Transport, Wildcat, and Space Spiral How long does the park keep the lights on at night once the park is open?
  5. Through the keyhole is really awesome, can't wait to ride it in May.
  6. So then join up and you will more than likely have the card in a couple days.......What are you waiting for?
  7. Clink I was thinking the same thing, 5 posts and thinks he/she has the right to tell where people can and can't post...........yeah right.
  8. I look at YOLO as a complete gimmicky coaster and I expect it will be the only coaster for awhile that has so many different launches. I am guessing some of the newer concepts will start to show up in places like China because the United States seems set on the same ol' same ol'.
  9. If a person or group of people bought a Fast lane but after say an hour decided they wanted to upgrade to the Fast Lane Plus would they be able to pay an additional $15.00 (or whatever price) to get upgraded or would they have to pay the whole Fast Lane Plus price?
  10. We will be at the Island on May 15th, that would be a Weds, then driving up to Cedar Point that night and high Cedar Thursday and Friday. We still might be looking for a 4th, you interested?
  11. Thanks for the great reply We are staying at the Great Wolf Lodge so I think we get into the park a bit early (is this correct or not). I am getting the tickets online so shouldn't have to wait in any lines for the tickets. This will be our only time visiting the park so want to take full advantage of the rides. Invertigo and Firehawk, get on them early and maybe late? We will make sure to hit up the Backyard BBQ, sounds great.
  12. You know it is a station, I walk through it to get to the train........that is good enough for me
  13. The small building in front of the station is going to be the gift shop or what is that building?
  14. Flat Ride: Would have to say Extreme Swing at Valleyfair, we ride that at least 7-10 times each time we go. Last year I am guessing we went on it 100 times. Roller Coaster: Wild Thing at Valleyfair, an average of 3-5 times per visit. Guessing we rode that 40 times last year and we will probably break that number on June 9th for Coasting For Kids
  15. Best part of the Montana Rusa POV from Rob.........."It's a tit jigglier"
  16. Thanks for the replies, we are going to probably stay at Great Wolf Lodge (unless there is a better one), and be able to get in a bit early to ride. Will check out or ask to see if anyone knows if it will be a busy day (schools and such) or just a fairly dead day.
  17. Heading to Kings Island for the first and probably only time. Date we will be in the park is May 15th which is a Wednesday. Now my question to all you Island experts, do you think being midweek that we will need FL or FL+?
  18. Holy....I thought there was an overall limit, I mistook "20 rides" for the number of rides it allowed you a day. Which is why I thought maybe higher prices didn't justify it. Well hell, unlimited usage? That's totally worth it!! Exactly AG, for a close park I don't mind only getting 1 ride in each, maybe 2, but for a good distance trip and 1 day, I want re-rides and lots of em. Last year on a Friday with the park packed with science kids we were able to ride a few coasters with Fast Lane, I still have the list of rides we were able to squeeze in on that Friday. 15 Maverick 5 Blue Streak 4 Raptor 4 Maxair 1 Wicked Twister 2 Power Tower Up 2 Power Tower Down 4 TTD 1 Mean Streak 4 Gemini 8 Millennium 2 Skyhawk 2 Magnum So on a packed Friday we were able to get on 52 rides from open to close, we didn't rush anywhere and had a blast. For the cost of $35.00 (at that time), it was well worth it. I will gladly pay the Fast Lane price again this year when we go back to the park.
  19. Amusement parks all he way, I much prefer park money to into more rides versus a themes area with a ride.
  20. Good question, it is still sitting there but really it wouldn't take much to knock that thing down and put something else there.
  21. Is RMC the only company that has the technology to make a coaster like Outlaw Run? If they are a fairly small company we might not see a ton of new coasters from them.
  22. Swung by VF today and saw they had some nice construction going on, looks like a picnic pavilion. New picnic building?
