Coaster Curt

Went to opening day at VF, high winds prevented most of the coasters from opening on time but Power Tower was running right away. Second ride on Wild Thing was the best ride I have had on it in years, front seat and got fantastic floater air over the first hills which is to be expected but also floater over all the bunny hills on the back side, I can't remember if I have ever had if time on the bunny hills. Excalibur was running with no trims on and made for the best ride I have had on it in a long time. High Roller on the other hand was a very rough ride, first car back seat and it was pretty rough.

How do you "rescue" a train such as Iron Dragon after it valleyed?

I go with a pair of cargo shorts with at least one zipper pocket, all important stuff goes in there, anything else if it fly's out..........well it must have been a great ride

Not fond of Maverick..........sorry this doesn't make sense to me I have already purchased FL+ for Friday the 17th, can hardly wait.

I had thought I would like the left side better but watching the video I am now thinking the right will be more fun, of course will ride both sides to get a good feel for which side I will enjoy more.

That right side ride looks like many head/foot chopper moments, I will enjoy riding this next week.

We ate at Pinks last year and it was great, if you enjoy a hotdog.

I will be taking a side entrance most of the time, but will make sure to go through the front gate at least once to see Gatekeeper. It will be released Monday, I am guessing that they were waiting for the "Hard" wheels to be put on to make sure it was recorded at top speed and sound.

There was a go-kart track, but they tore it out. I think the place where we are seeing footers is its former location. Thanks, any idea on the cost of the Slingshot, I have never done one and might be interested in giving it a shot

For the extra stuff like Slingshot, is there a go cart track as well?

Any ideas at to what kind of crowd I am going to see on Weds the 15th? As I mentioned before this is our first time to the park, Fast Lane or Fast Lane Plus in order? We will be there open to close so have plenty of time, but also want to ride Diamondback and a couple others as much as possible. Thanks.

Went over to VF today to get the season passes processed and spotted a bunch of trees waiting to be planted, CF is actually adding trees or is the world finally ending?

^ It has been mentioned that there was no sand added to therefore it will have the B&M roar.

I have done quit a bit of research on staying and playing at CP. It turns out that the Platinum pass is more expensive than a Gold Pass at Valleyfair (my closeest park), Kings Island day pass and a Breakers/Park 2 day park pass at CP. I really considered getting the Platinum passes because of Valleyfair and that we are hitting KI and CP next month, but the Plat pass was still more expensive than the 3 put together.

Will be there on Weds May 15th, first time at the park and looking for some Diamondback love.

^ You have a great point there, Wild Things first hill is certainly sustained airtime. I ride that coaster just for that hill.

I am a huge fan of floater airtime and not a big fan of ejector air. I am wondering what you all like and why? I like rides such as Diamondback where you float over all the hills and dislike the crazy ejector air that Magnum gives a person. I am heading back to CP next month and will give Magnum another chance so hopefully this time I enjoy it more. I looked and didn't see a thread like this so thought what the heck.

That looks like one hella good ride. I love how much air it looks like that coaster gives.

The thing is that no one under 35 remembers ever seeing anything Brady, it just seems to me to be a really long reach to get people at the park.
