Coaster Curt

Looking for ideas for the next park to go to. There will be 4 guys driving from the Minneapolis area and will be heading to Cedar Point in a couple weeks, we have also talked about going later this year to another park. What would be some of the top parks for coasters and flats within driving distance? I would say anything under the 12 hour drive time would be fine. Thanks

Not a fan of the rides that really spin, they mess me up for the day. I will however jump on Extreme Swing/Sky Hawk or maXair everytime I see them.

Saw some of these gems from the Cedar Point FB page about the Blue Streak being painted. Yup that was an epic comment.....because Blue Streak is the same as TTD. Yes that is new. What?? This was a gem Um isn't that the point? Have to wonder when we will read about this rider because they flew out of the car. You are right it is terrible news they decided to paint the ride.

Watched the video of that coaster and it just seems like a launched coaster, why would this be considered a liquid coaster?

Very excited to see the Giant Wheel all lite up Too bad I will be visiting the park before the Luminosity is up and running.

Never had them at the park.......way over priced for freezer burn ice cream.

I am curious, is this something that each person keeps track of or is there a data base where a person can input the coaster they went on and you get a credit? Sorry if this is a dumb question but just started getting into the coaster craze

I am guessing out of towners at the park on a weekend will use the Fast Lane. I bought season passes for the family and only live 20 minutes away so we will hit the park at the slow times. Anyone thing with the Amphitheater leaving and mini golf leaving this presents a great time for a new coaster to come into the park? What about adding something over the Antique cars area and into the picnic area? If they decided to put a station near the Corkscrew couldn't the entire ride be over the midway/cars/and into the picnic area?

Sorry not trying to be stupid here but after seeing a few signatures that state how many wooden/steel/liquid coasters they have been on I got curious as to what a liquid coaster is.

Valley Fair is very strict about any and all loose articles and cameras. Last season I was on a train and we had to wait for another rider to find someone to hold her camera because she was trying to get a POV. The train was not going to leave the station while she was holding any sort of camera.

Last season last ride was Renegade. First ride this season on May 12th will be Wild Thing
